This is my second Deepbit withdrawal.  I have no deepbit balance and I have nothing in my Bitcoin account on my computer.  What the heck happened to my bitcoin?

I need to contact Deepbit admin but I don't see any admin links.

Thanks

You appear to have received something today:
http://blockexplorer.com/address/1EeceoMdhXiCAfdRGJHAbRGFuwPWLSmCdt

How many connections does your client have, and how many blocks does it show?

Well, how many blocks do you have? If the number of blocks in your client is lower than the number of blocks shown here:http://blockexplorer.com/q/getblockcount, your client hasn't downloaded the whole block chain yet.

As I said, you don't have the whole block chain - the current block count is 130234. If you're connected to the bitcoin network, you should slowly see the number rise. How many connections does your client show?

Ok, I think I got it working on one computer.  Same wallet but still not generating.  Does it have to be generating

Not really. This is a technical issue, not a Deepbit issue.

@OP: Try adding some Fallback Nodes.

In addition I'm a newbie so I can't post in anywhere but here until I have 50 posts.  Besides I can't find the deepbit thread.

How the heck do I get a fall back node to work.  This crap is confusing and I'm frustrated.

Seeing as how Tyco can look into it on his end and offer a more refined solution based on more information your response falls flat.  The Deepbit thread(otherwise known as Tyco Tech Support) would have been the best place.  Especially considering the Fallback Node solution that left the guy completely bewildered.  That's not Tech Support that's Tech Jargon and to a newbie(as he stated) that's not much help.

On top of that, the guy specifically asked for a Deppbit Admin.  Where is it you think that should go except where the Admin has set up shop on this forum?

Well I PM'd Tyco at least I can do that as a newbie.  Other than that us newbies are stuck to this newbie forum area which means.  Me putting a post in a special area is not allowed.  So I'm screwed because I don't have enough time in the day to sit and post.  Thanks a lot spammers.

I pray for a resolution.

I don't wish to take up forum space.   Thanks to those that tried helping.  I still can't find a resolution.  I'm smart enough to build a mining computer, but evidently not smart enough to understand all this jargon and keep my bitcoin safe.

@TheGer, the way it looks this really is no problem Tycho/deepbit could do anything about; the OPs problem is that his client is getting no connections.

Re:Fallback Nodes: You might want to try the commands mentioned here: http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=12573.msg174660#msg174660

alright, I got it connected, I don't have a generate option and I did this add node command.  I guess it's wait and see from here to see what happens.  This I actually think might work now.

I will be back and or try talking to tyco thanks everyone for your input eventhough due to being stressed and tired a lot of this has gone over my head.  Clear head and sleep makes this much easier to understand.

I'm sure it will sort itself out. Remember, the BTCs have already been transfered to your account (See post #6), your client just doesn't know it yet  Wink

No Luck,  I think I'm the unluckiest person right now.

I have 51.19 BC in limbo floating around space with superman and I guess he gets it before me.

What if I try reloading BC and the old Wallet File.  Will that help?
