i think if that really happen, shop will look for transaction instead of confirmation , because even with high fee doesn't guaranteed if confirmation will be faster

OMG I think bitcoin transactions are instant now I did a withdraw and after 10 seconds I could see the incoming transaction in other address.
however it took 3 minutes to confirm but still very fast.

Faster than any payment processor mate, the thing is you can also save with the transaction fee and once the amount was already transaction it cannot be freeze anymore because that is not the norm of the system unlike in bank transaction.

Well, bitcoin should be fast in any transaction. Since its not that fast, online market is the best choice to spend bitcoin. I have experience that kind of transaction coz few establishment are accepting bitcoin as payment. Im using an online wallet so i have to use internet connection in able to spend btc.

Me too I considered it fast. Sometimes I have a 5 mins waiting time to receive and still its OK to me compared to other services or mode of payment.As long as  thers transaction ID and can be search on explorer, I am confident with the transaction.

Actually it's not a problem as long as you already send it to their wallet , just waiting for the blockchain to be confirmed and it's takes only a minute , but some times it takes hour, as soon as youll already send it, there is no chance for reversal so no need to wait to for blockchain to be confirmed.

It's fast enough and also it's same as wester union but you no need to go anywhere, you can do this by youreself on your house, this is a great benfit.

yes it is really fast now in starting days it was creating problems while transferring bitcoin and specially the conformation message was a big problem but now we can see that the problem is solve to sole level. now mostly the transaction process of bit coin is too smooth creating no issue,

It's fast enough as a means of transferring funds but somehow, not fast enough if we are going to be buying stuff from stores since the store owners/managers would have to wait for the transaction to be confirmed before they give the item which would quite be annoying since confirmation times can take upto hours, days even.

You could employ escrow, but it might not still solve the issue. Possibly, the store might still higher prices just to speed up the transaction. I am not 100% sure if you can do that though. But there is still a long way to go before, BTC is treated like normal currency by everyone.

i sent my signature campaign money from bitvest tonight to bitvest to invest it and i did see the pending right away but it took like 30 minutes to fully
go through to the point where i could use it. Pretty slow

I am quite sure you are talking about making deposits at exchanges that require your coins to have at least 3 confirmations in order to post?

That's done because of security reasons. Exchanges can definitely let 1 confirmation deposits post in your account, but why taking a risk when you can have the safety you want with 3 confirmations.

Remember, exchanges hold peoples coins, and thus need to make sure no one can cheat and steal coins.

even to get 1 confirmation can sometimes take a long time. still faster than a transaction using a credit card or ATM card. sending bitcoin is currently the longer I think. I even sometimes annoyed, when selling to the exchanger and it can wait up to 10 minutes more to get 1 confirmation.

BTC transactions are not slow. The time requirement of a transaction's process could be influenced by the actual state of the blockchain, but usually it should not be a problem with a proper amount of fee. In the cases when the blockchain has much to process, it is not a problem because local stores would use BTC as an alternative next to fiat.

I think the transactions are irreversible so if a person will pay and the transaction will appear on the receiver address then they should not have to fear any more as once the sender click on the send button then there remains no any option to reverse that bitcoins.

It is entirely different thing.When you top up your mobile from sites that support mobile recharge,you first upload btc to your account in that site.When you ask for recharge,you get recharge instantly because that site already has your btc and they use fiat to recharge

Faster Bitcoin transaction will happen atleast next 5 -10 years. there gonna be release 5 G and 6 G connection, that make everything we do with internet activitty is faster until tera bytes per second. Can it make bitcoin transaction faster?

Confirmations don't only depend on the block times. You as person has a lot influence in the way of adding appropriate fees etc. Pools nowadays are very picky and tend to ignore certain transactions for a while. Especially those that have a very high-byte low-fee ratio. That being said, transactions with Bitcoin are instant. So it makes it basically the fastest tool to send money from A to B no matter where in the world you are.
