Let me say couple words about prices Smiley

This is unique service and as you could read so far nothing beats it in terms of speed.

As more resellers join they will offer lower prices for sure, one more reseller is on board and expect to start offering cards within 10 days.

You must understand that no one would sell this if they make only 2-3% by selling this, resellers need to be motivated somehow Smiley

We plan to list all resellers on giftcoins.me and from there you can choose who has the best deal, cheapest price and payment options...this should help lowering the price a bit.

As I understand majority of people hates waiting and are willing to spend that extra buck to get something NOW and not in few days Smiley

the cards in the picture are great for use in retail stores, and retail stores have their own methods of preventing charge backs. eg use of pin numbers in store.

obviously if you have fully set up the legal paperwork involved with becoming a company to then offer products to businesses then although im not endorsing the expansion of the black market side. there are many shops in towns that dont sell drugs but they sell paraphernalia related to drugs, which you can start looking into as places that would offer bitcoins.

other independent stores
EG
independent geek shops that sell custom computers parts and repairs. where people can buy bitcoins to then get web hosting without credit cards, simply by paying cash instore.

and then expand to walmarts 7-11 once you can show there is a demand for the retail giants to also have them on their racks alongside facebook credits.

just be careful that the cards can be activated, validated and deactivated live as retailers in some countries do have to offer a refund of some form within a reasonable time. so retailers would need to be trained and have a simple system to ensure that people dont just steal the cards off the shelves (as they need activating). They aren't used instantly then requesting a refund (validating) and if a refund is processed (deactivated). Purely to ensure that there are no losses by the retailer or yourselves.

places like walmart wont even meet you for a consultation about using you as a supplier unless you can show honest transaction volumes which would in their eyes be deemed as enough demand to use their valuable shelving space. They know a 7 inch area/rack can net them X amount of dollars a week offering itunes cards or facebook cards so to be accepted to be on one of their racks you have to show you can net them a reasonable profit.

so i would start with the small independent stores

Ok I think I misunderstood. I was thinking I could order physical gift cards with bitcoin codes/redemption instructions embedded in them to give as gifts. Is this possible?

this info can be found on the cards back Smiley

Ok I just bought 4 cards. I was emailed the 4 codes, will the 4 cards be coming in the mail as well? I think I'm still not fully understanding. If/when they do come, where do my employees go to redeem the codes?
Thanks

once you get those code you have to go to www.giftcoins.me site, from there it's easy

just enter card code and bitcoins wallet ID and that's it..wait for bitcoins to show up in your wallet, takes 2-3min total

I purchased a $100 card from Jagoo (which costs $109.90).  The website made me use that special password OP was talking about that VISA does.  Btw I hate that special password thing because I only have to use it like once a year I have to reset the password every time.

Anyways, Once I made payment I instantly received the email with the confirmation code.

This step needs improvement - at no point in time was I ever told from jagoo, or in the email, or in item description, what website I needed to go to to redeem my code.

Since im smart, and I was reading this thread, I was able to figure it out.

I redeemed my code at giftcoins.me using the email confirmation option.  Here is the error that I received at your website.

Even though I received an error, I still received my email confirmation instantly, and then 2 to 3 minutes later I got the pop up from my bitcoin wallet that there was an incoming transaction. I am in the middle of receiving 1.3556116 for $109.90 paid.  Mtgox last price shows $64.1647, so looks like everyone involved is getting a nice percentage.

This is by far the fastest and easiest way to buy BTC that I have seen.

this error was found and fixed, it won't happen again Smiley

A lot of places that sell "gift cards" only accept cash (and sometimes debit). I hope and assume that stores selling physical versions of these will be taking such precautions. Especially early resellers/venders.

So, the physical ones don't have the security measures in place like the similar "gift cards" you see at walmart and such? They're just a redeem code on a card?

question...

1) how do you plan on dealing with fraud, i see you pass on that problem to your re-sellers, is it something they are aware of?

2) if i buy the 100$ card today, and redeem it 10 days from now ( lets say bitcoin droped to 50$ by then ) would i get 2 bitcoin - some FEE??

I hope that resellers are aware that they are selling a stored-value card that once redeemed cannot be revoked.

I would also like to know if there is a conversion fee upon redeeming the card. The 2.99 fee is actually competitive to doing moneypak trades with individuals, so i'm hoping that there is no other fees.

security measures, well code on the back is protected by the scratch off foil and those cards have to be activated first, otherwise if you "get" cards that are not activated they will be just nice cards without any value, not possible to redeem

resellers are aware of the risk, there is always a risk when selling something

card is always worth $100 at the time of redeeming, redeem today and you wil get 1.4BTC, redeem in a 2 months if bitcoin is worth$200 and you would get 0.5BTC.. % of card value is always deducted so same profit is always paid to resellers and us providing this service

^^ In other words, don't sell for $$ and send/sell Bitcoins in exchange. We are back to square one when it comes to buying bitcoins! as clearly this won't work Sad ^^

I mean don't get me wrong this is great for scammers and the fraudsters! they will rape you for everything you got! Grin

What rate or exchange do you use at the time of redemption? Mt Gox? BitFloor? Also, what exact parameters? Is it like, ask price, bid price, spot price, last price, volume weighted?

Who are the current resellers now?

I think this is one way to buy bitcoins using credit cards world wide.

Lol ...yes, lets hope so. I just want to make sure the OP is clear to the people who are looking to re-sell this or be a "re-seller" for this service know the risks that are involved. He seems pretty nonchalant about it saying "All sellers have risks with any items" and it shouldn't be a big deal ... he hasn't experienced Bitcoin yet then .  Since I can only go by his newb count posts I'm assuming he is a newb in this respect. Let's hope the "resellers" are bigger places who can afford to get raped by scammers here.

Nobody accept the company mentioned in the post. Anyone who doesn't have a ton of money to compensate for chargebacks ( or is taking bitcoin only orders) will take this up.
