That would be an amazing idea tho, for selling and buying and maybve like a shop where you can buy stuff eaither using them as a third person or directly from them, like ordering from ebay or amazon via them and paying in btc. Also, it would be good to keep them connected in some way, where no matter where you visit the shop it would be the same as in every other city.

For sure this is going to be a great idea that you are going to build your own bitcoin shop in big cities, because it is going to be a unique way of accepting money from your customers. And if the other shops are going to see that you are accepting bitcoins then they are going to ask to themselves that, what is bitcoin? And that is going to make them interested for adopting it too.

Really good. We have to start this. Many would get employed and bitcoin would get spread everywhere. At least people would be made aware of this crypto currency. Ann other team can be set to advertise and market this business everyday. So that more business comes and more bitcoins would start getting circulated. If govt accepts then the economy would be really its peak growth.

I think it is already started, but the merchant is a bit hesitant because of the volatility of bitcoin.  They are afraid that somehow bitcoin will drop in price and then the coin they are holding has devaluate when they exchange it to fiat money to buy their supply.

It's a bit of chicken and egg problem.

since Bitcoin is not that well known in the wider world being able to take bitcoin is not enough of a added value to drive customers to your store. When Bitcoin is well known it will be because lots of places are using it. so while taking bitcoin will be nice it won't be that big of a deal.

You need something else other than just being able to take bitcoin.

Newegg takes bitcoin but if I want to do a pickup at their nearby warehouse I have to use a credit card.

well it is a good idea but i think there wilk be imposed some restrictions at these big shops of tax and then the same type of buy sell amount will came .
so i think it is not a simple to open bug shop of bitcoin .

I think it's a good idea. A bitcoin shop in the central on big cities, many people will curious and i'm sure many people will start using bitcoin because of that.

Unfortunately, seems it will still be far into the future since bitcoin users are way too low. (I haven't even met a single one offline)

Even online stores that accepts bitcoin and is based locally would be good enough for now. Sigh

(Sometimes I even kinda wish some super rich person would start up a store for bitcoin then create several chains located on almost every country.) Oh well.

What you are saying is that every big city needs an Bitcoin ATM where people can go there and purchase bitcoin.

But one issue is here which I consider very important, this is the privacy, on these places there will be security cameras.

And because of this I doubt that a good percentage of potential bitcoin buyers will refuse to go there, but the idea is perfect.

A big city that was already open to Bitcoin in some sort of capacity would likely benefit from a Bitcoin shop, but the one major caveat I can see is having a big enough population within the city that is actually something worth considering. A million people likely would lack the necessary quantities of people to run a business.

i agree but i also think that even smaller cities with smaller number of customers will still benefit from a bitcoin shop.
even if there is not enough people knowing about bitcoin there, this can help bring more people in.

due to taxtation  the price will became near the buy sell price at online site like at localbitcoins .
i think they should only accept bitcoin as a payment only . then it would be better way to use Bitcoin directly .
all over it is a good idea of bitcoin popularity .

Yes that fact of creation bitcoin shops in big cities could make bitcoin more popular and provoke this way it's price to grow. Yeah bitcoin holders could become millionaires in a moment this way, but unfortunately I am not one of them haha my current target is to make at least one bitcoin for the beginning. But in anyway I will be happy if the price of bitcoin will rise higher that 600$ this days it is just frozen in that point.
