There is a street caller the "Bitcoin Valley" in the Netherlands. I went to Netherlands last summer but I regret not going to that street. Next time I am going to visit that country, I will make sure that is one thing I'm going to look for. This idea is great, but I don't know how successful it will be. The only way you can make it maybe successful is having both a physical and online shop for Bitcoin.

yes no doubt that it is a great idea, as although it is more expected that the user of bitcoin will be more in big cities as compare to small cities, but still it will be more better that if we analyse first and open such shops in such area where the bitcoin user are more. so it will be more easy to get a successful star. and in such area where the users are not good in number there we can have both physical and online shops for bitcoin so as to control the expenses of the shops easily.

There might be future shops that would probably accept new ways of transactions, in our country we haven't have that much yet, just online stores, selling it and probably you might get scammed with it. I just hope people won't go and scamming them because it would result to bad reputation.

I think that is not a good idea because many people are probably not aware of bitcoin and It's a lot of inconvenience for them to travel and go to your place just to buy bitcoin ! Why instead building a shop try making it online in this way you can attract buyers not only in your country but all over the world  and in that way you can gain more profit !

Bitcoin in big cities will be a real advantage because if a lot of outlets in the cities deal in Bitcoin there will be no need to carry your fiat currencies around and it will really get you going with ease. I'm really in support of this promotion and hope the major merchants in the cities adopt them.

Hey Guys,

what would be your opinion if there would been Bitcoin shops in big cities like London, Berlin or Paris (also smaller cities).
So you could go inside the shop and buy or sell Bitcoin for a good price.

I think it would be an good (and an advantage) idea because more people would use Bitcoin so the price would rise up and the people who are owning Bitcoins at the moment would have more money in Bitcoins. Wink

Best regards,

Patrick Smiley
it was nice and would increase the bitcoin users so the problem is who is brave enough to take the risk to do it ? as it's known that the state still has not approved the bitcoin as a currency or legal payment

I think Bitcoin shops on either big or small cities are not relevant because you can sell your Bitcoin online on exchanges. Also price won't differ if you sell it on hand or online because they always follow the market price. The only way tou will sell your Bitcoin at a higher price is if the buyer is dumb and actually will buy your overpriced Bitcoin.

To popularize button it's necessary to make the image of bitcoin exposed to general people in nreal world then to advertise online in website beggar offline marketing and advertising have very big big impact on people.

So i thing having a bitcoin shop in big city would be perfect because many people will then come to know about bitcoin.

I think its not good idea for businesses to implement Bitcoin in them if they are not completely familiar with it. Bitcoin is not just another Payment Processor but a fully-developed concept!! It is not meant to earn and then converted in cash asap like businesses do. Better Bitcoin should be implemented by Internet businesses, etc. who have complete knowledge regarding its concept!

It's an interesting idea. But it is difficult to implement
How would it be difficult to bring an alternative way of payment into shops in big cities? I agree that acknowledging people about bitcoin and making them aware of it is a hard task and it gets even more strenuous when it comes to changing people's perspective about it. But since we got everything right then it's not such a tough thing to get bitcoin a place in shops in big cities.

if there is many people in one city that know bitcoin then its a good idea to build bitcoin shop in that cities but for now, the bitcoin user is not yet big than the population so it might not good to build the shops. but if we have more money, then we can try to build new websites and we can offer our customer to pay with bitcoin. in this way, we can reach more people from many countries to buy in our shop and i am sure that in future, we can see that in offline, bitcoin shop will be available too.

I agree with you buddy! seems like selling Bitcoins in a local shop will not work because you're target customers will probably not be there ! and imagine why they will choose to go to your shop and make some effort when they can buy bitcoins online and without hassle ? maybe making it online is the best choice for your business

Exactly, basically the best place to advertise was on the higher population that is what an advertiser always aims right. Same thing with bitcoin best way of promoting it is to let people experience it and the best place to do it is obviously in the place were most of the population were at.

it s a great idea of building bitcoins shops in big cities
that would attract buyers , make more people aware of bitcoins , people would come to know that there is an alternative method of payment ,we can also pay   through bitcoins
it would create a public awareness about bitcoins and more people would star using it
physical shops would require he country's governments permission Also to start their shop
and It is not possible now because most of the country s are not accepting BTC
ya it is possible in future that they permit bitcoins
what I think is that first they should open an online shop and if it starts hitting hard then they should go for physical shops
people would and longer require  carry fiat and exchanging removed when they land into any foreign country

it is a good idea because big cities means many people and mostly people there knows bitcoin so your shop will easily get good customers especially bitcoin users . Just dont forget to accept other means of payment not just bitcoin then just talk to them about bitcoin so that when they get back they will use bitcoin instead of other currency.

Yes I do agree so but who will responsible for this job? I mean, I have never seen many shops in the big city which accept Bitcoin. There are only a few shops there and I think with this number we can not make any significant effect to other people. Therefore, Bitcoin needs our support and it is necessary for us to start our own business which accepts Bitcoin in our local area

I think the one responsible for the advertisement will be the person who is setting up the business himself.  Since those who are not setting up that business will have no incentives if ever they promote the place, unless that business will come up to a strategy that will give incentives to the person who refer a client to their business.
