Of course, lottery is a form of gambling. I think buying 1000 tickets is already addicted and has urge to win. But it is really hard to win in gambling and that is the fact. If others won, it is not meaning to say that you will win too.

Lottery is for sure gambling when you buy any lottery ticket you spend money in case of not winning you simply loose money and there is nothing to get back in return. This is gambling too where you win or loose in the end as there no middle state. Lottery works same then why it can be different than gambling.
Yes your explanation is so true, Lottery is gambling too, because you buy lottery ticket, if you win, you will get a jackpot, abig money,, and if you lost, you will also lose your money. Lottery is a form of gambling which there's a money at stake.. you're trying to win the jackpot with luck. Same with other types of games in gambling you need your luck to win.  |

yes, putting money in lottery is gambling too. I think the lottery is a kind of gambling,
because there we put up the money to benefit from it too.
To me, whatever the type, put up the money to get more profit is gambling.
Put money on risk is gambling so anything where we take risk to get profit is nothing more than gambling, lottery has more big reward but winners are very few there than we can say this without doubt it's form a gambling and chance of winning is very rare. Well it's already obvious that lottery is just another form of gambling as by definition itself, lottery is placing a bet and relying on chance and luck for a positive outcome. The outcome though for most people would be disappointment. The number of winners from lottery are very few but hey, with how high the jackpots are, i wouldn't mind placing a bet every now and then |

you're right, I also agree with it. I think the lottery is a kind of gambling the most widely played by someone. by buying many tickets and hope the luck that we have so that we win, well, gambling in the casino game is the same as it was, but that is different is the prize. however, it is very difficult to win this game |

I'd rather use only those free tickets offered by the websites. All games that involves money where in you will either win or lose is a gambling. So buy only tickets if you can afford the losses. Even you buy more and more tickets, it is not meaning to say that you will hit the jackpot. Let's say you may win but for me the lose is bigger.

Don't even always hope for free tickets in the lotteries and it is better if the money you earned hard will be use for buying lottery tickets. And you are right with it, as long as there is money associated and chances of winning or losing that is already considered as gambling. No matter how much you would as long as you play lottery. |

Anything where you face loss or profit at the end is gambling so in lottery tickets you reach at one of two situations getting profit or remaining without money with what you bought those tickets. It should be seen as taking risk which applies in lottery though I consider it gambling too and it is fact whether someone do agree or not.

Absolutely right, 1000 tickets wont really matter though even 10,000 tickets if youre unlucky it would really be useless. In fact lottery is the hardest gambling game to win for me. Imagine millions of people or thousands will bet to get the jackpot and number combinations are complex which means chances of winning is soo small and you will need much luck to get the jackpot prize. |

Lottery is one kind of gambling, and its the same if its from a private company or from state lottery. Isn't an addiction problem if you buy a ticket every week, lots of people plays every week one ticket to states lottery (its an small price for a big prize), but it can be a problem if you buy lots of tickets every week.

It is definitely gambling so far its putting money to expect it to have multiplying effect with the implied risk of even losing what is being put in then its gambling. Lottery to me is actually not really dependent on the number of tickets put in as you have rightly noted that people with higher tickets lost compared to someone with lower tickets its just a way of increasing the chances of being picked as the jackpot winner thats all.
