That's good advice.  And I don't think that applies only in the Championship.  It may very well be applied to all the team sports that one bets on.  There were some of comments in the EPL thread that said the preseason games are not important and shouldn't be used to measure how good or bad a squad is.  To a point I agree because it takes time for players to adjust.  But at the same time I'm thinking the preseason games are really important if you're to judge how good or bad a squad is.  Especially now that there was the Euro 2016 this year.  A lot of the players have had almost no playing time with their club teammates which should be a little bit concerning for most of the top European clubs.

Thats very true considering that some players did not play during the Euros, first games in the beginning of the league are tough and the results do not always favour the favourites

It was a disappointing first game for Newcastle.  Although they are the favorite to win the Championship, and I would love for them to get back to the EPL, it will still be a long and hard road for them getting back.  The Championship is a tough league even though it is only a second tier league in England.  It could be arguably tougher than some European leagues and it is definitely tougher than the MLS.

The clubs I want to see back on top are Newcastle, Leeds and QPR.

Liverpool just destroyed Barcelona a hours ago. I do believe that Liverpool with do the same thing to arsenal.

Liverpool is really solid now and Divock Origi is getting better under klopp day after day.

Yeah, that's why i only bet over 2.5 goals and both teams to score and so far my bets are win on Norwich City match and Nottingham Forest match. It's still early stages though.

I have to ask why you think that Birmingham will win over Derby County.  They have a better team this year than last year and the way they are playing together, shows that they have the skills needed to take it all the way.  Everyone has their opinion, but Birmingham over Derby County is just a bad met in my opinion.

Yup both are CL winners.  But we have to point out the difference of brilliance of both.  Benitez is known to be a good manager, offering brilliant ideas in the modern game.  Sadly the same cannot be said of Di Matteo.  I don't know what happened that year, but he luckboxed winning the CL playing mostly a "park the bus" style.  It was fun to watch though, especially the semis vs Barca.  I laughed my ass off when Torres made a goal.

In the last championship Chelsea and ManUnited really was big disappointments and Leicester was big surprise.
Now, I don't believe that Leicester can repeat their great result and again win the championship.
It will be really miracle.
ManUnited really invested a lot money in new players, other top clubs like ManCity and Chelsea also, so I'm sure that in this championship we will see great fight for championship among this a few top clubs.
