Hello.  I am a fairly well known Las Vegas based poker player who recently got very interested in the bitcoin.  I would like to acquire some bitcoins, paying with either cash, MoneyBookers, BoA xfer, or I can even send money on Cake Poker, RPM Poker, or even PokerStars for the euros since I have a few friends who would help me out.  I have a solid gold reputation in the poker world, I can provide many references and examples of my trustworthiness via PM and do whatever verification is necessary.  I'm not really too sure how this works in this community, so I apologize if I am breaking any rules with this post.

I am also interested in discussing any aspect of the bitcoin with any interested party if someone wants to be BTC-buddies.  Send me a PM!

Hi Penny Lobster,

Since it looks like you already have a BofA account you should check out exchangebitcoins.com, you can deposit cash into the exchangebitcoins checking account.

https://www.exchangebitcoins.com

Deposit Cash at a Local Bank Branch
Cash deposits can be made at any of thousands of Bank of America or Wells Fargo branches. You can deposit from $5 to $2,000 per day. There is a deposit fee of the higher of $1 or 1% of your deposit.

I assume that you live in Europe, so your bank probably supports SEPA transfers. They are totally free and the money is available after 2/3 business days.

If you don't mind waiting, just sign up at Tradehill, fund your account and buy a few bitcoins.
