ETC to $100, when?

If ETC goes to $100, then BTC must be around $100,000.  There is no logical way to reach that level with ETC imo.

its really need long time before the price is high into $100 because btc itself is not so high and for now, with the price is below than $1, maybe need 100 years if 1 years is equal in $1. so each year the price is up for just $1  its only my silly imagination

yeah agree with you there when ETH was about to launch and after its launch for maybe a month or it was a big topic of discussion as to what prices will it reach will it be better than btc and all that but now no one really cares that much it has become like any other alt coin. Yes now people are just moving onto new altcoins that what people do, if any other new coin comes up same craze as ETH the same thing will happen all over again. ETH or ETC might never reach $100.

the answer is simple even without reading what coin you are talking about: Never

no altcoin has yet been created that can go up in price that high because they simply offer nothing interesting to the real world to attract any real investors apart from pump and dumpers and pump and dumpers prefer low prices not high ones because increasing price from 1000 to 2000 satoshi is a lot easier than increasing 0.01 to 0.02

with that said, i am expecting a rise in ETC, not completely sure about this but since ETH has been failing with the new fork and the possible new leftover chain and a new coin, there can be some room for ETC to grow especially since the price has gone down so much.

In fact, we might have a surprise if BTC value will increase significantly (+1000$), but not on ETC.

no altcoin will ever reach $100 ever.
but having a rise to $10-$20 is more up the alley of altcoins and it is very much possible even for ETC.
and as you can see, to day ETC has been showing some good upward movement which shows it is still alive and kicking, and i am expecting this rise to continue and even in the future there will be more rises.

I think I may sell off my ETC if it drops back below 0.0016
But if it goes above 0.0017 we might see another pump.
IDK everything is so uncertain with the Forks coming up.

there has never been any active development in 99% of the coins especially in ethereum which looks like a Swiss cheese with all the bugs and security holes in it.

apart from that no altcoin can go that high unless it starts being used for real in the real world by real people as a currency or at least an investment.

ETC = $100. That is a dream, the marketcap will be close to $10 Billion. They don't have the money to develop the platform, no commited developer, unless ETH foundation decided to give them the ETC in their covers, also the coming of Rostock it going to shift attention away from both Ethereum chain

That will happen when the bitcoin market cap is over 100 billion. So it could happen in 3 to 5 years.

coins like etherum always have a very short life time and they will all end up face down soon. it is how the market works, and this is nothing new believe me and right now all the hype is elsewhere like on the zchash which is dying also.

and the worst part is that ETC is a fork with much less interest from pumpers!

Forks generally have a hard time maintaining a high price for a long period of time unlike real coins e.g Monero that has maintained its pump price for weeks.

I was really waiting and holding my breath for this to happen only to let go and sell my ETC at a loss. For me this has been an awakening experience because I was also caught up with all the optimism on Ethereum Classic that I forgot the big possibility that this could all be hype and worse, a scam. I do not think it is a scam yet but it could may be on its way there.

many of the bigger coins like Litecoin and Monero are still struggling to keep a good price up and have even 1/10 of that price OP is mentioning and they are facing lots of problems to go up. so why in the world a remainder from a fork coin can even live enough to reach $100 is beyond my imaginations
