Many new coins are using the ETH as a platform and the ETH price sometimes gets higher sometimes not (based on graphs) But ETC alone can't do anything to reach $100, so maybe never or maybe very late. I'm not an ETC fan, but I was confirming if the ETC will be switching into the Pos coin. It seems like the dev was being a beast soon. They will scratch the platform into the right way. But I will be searching for the other confirmation about this rumor. ETC is on it's first year and it's too early to think that it will become $100 very soon because the competition is very high. But seeing etc price being around $1-$1.10 is not something high but there is needed more development and more adoption to see it at $100. When ethereum already pass their fourth years, and they never worth over $20 and how long the time will be taking by ETC to get $100? But not for 10 years later. |

@Shiroslullaby. You talk like it is very easy to determine where the market will move. It is that attitude that make people lose their bitcoins in the altcoin exchanges. After earning some bitcoins in tradng will make them think that they are good at it but all that happened was the were only lucky.
QFT, It was nice to see the bump I like ETC over ETH by a huge margin but just don't see a real future for either but in the mean time P&D away boys. |

Right now i can't really see that ETC is going to the moon any time soon.
In fact it is slowly dying. User interest was amazing for like the first couple of weeks when the coin got out, and then just dropped to a level close to zero afterwards. Ethereum is quite dominant right now.
With the soaring bitcoin price, you'd probably had made more with investments in bitcoin instead of altcoins.

Ethereum grew big time from autumn till this late winter. Now it has its small ups and downs. I guess $100 is absolutely real for ethereum to be the price in about half a year if nothing like a huge atack due to security problems happens. Good luck to eth! Great coin, big future. |

why not? dash reached $100 and dahs isn't anything special to ethereum, they both have some quality features, if dash can etheruem can also, ethereum can just double and be at $100 not a thing that hard to do in crypto, we see all the time shitcoin without a name that get a 2x pump without any reason, instead ethereum have all the reasons to go to $100 now |

You compare a 100 mil. supply with a mini supply (dash), really? Totally different techs and purposes. I am not in favor of both but still dash is more valid as a finance coin than ETH is. Watch the ETH Enterprise Conference. All companies said they'll not use the public chain, instead they build their own chains. Companies and GOV want control over their assets and chains. There is no need for them to use the public chain. So yes, ETH can reach 100$ but it is then just a huge bubble bubble |
