I agree with you that it will take time, and that will be a very long time because if we have a lot of knowledge about cryptocurrency, we will know it just is fork of eth, it does not contribute too much to the community, that tells us the potential of etc is not too high. So if it wants to reach $ 100, it will need a lot of help from the market, depending on the big investors, personally, I think it is not suitable for long term investment, short term is more appropriate, however this is only my opinion, the decision is still in our own

Ethereum Classic will settle down like Ethereum. Also just invest when it makes dip.

I believe the hard fork will increase the price of ETC by a nice margin, but it will not be enough by itself, to reach 100 usd.
I'd say it can do it in the autumn, or at the end of the year, it can hit 100$
Maybe if another hard fork happens, it can reach it sooner, as I saw coins gain value nicely after hardforking.

Maybe that will happen when Ethereum will fully be switched to POS but not earlier. The reason is clear: a lot of ETH miners will switch to ETC.

The answear is never if the market going down agaon. Etc will always not more then 1/10 eth price as hard forked coin always like that. I also thpugh etc could touch $100 before callisto airdrop but it does not happen and now i lose hope etc going to $100 sold all my etc when ot was $38

although we can say never to see etc to reach $100, we cannot know if this is for real or not because in cryptocurrency, everything can be possible especially if there are many people trust with the project. I think we can wait the time will answer our question and meanwhile, we can buy etc and sell it when the price increases. I am sure that if etc is a good project, the price will increase in a good time but if it's not a good project then the project will abandon and people will leave the project.

When I see on today's market I think that my predictions about $60 before summer are very optimistic. If the such trend continues we will se ETC per $8. And $100 will be postponed for year  But hold only and buy some
