I was excited when I saw this thread title thinking it was a retailer selling armed drones to take out trespassing Pokemon GO players by remote control with lethal force. I would say you can imagine my disappointment, but really that is not possible.

Are you saying my phone has to have a hot spot setup that the drone connects to?  How far is the range?

Pokédrone makes it. Range is 100 meters, but it have GPS so don’t need continuous wifi connection. It will go to Pokémon and come back to you.
