I don’t know the exact reason but I believe that, this bitcoin price fluctuation is due to halving and further I think that this price fluctuation will carry on with small ups and downs on a larger time scale (in my opinion, up to the mid on 2017) and then there will be sustainable growth. I already said, we shouldn’t underestimate halving event (as it has long term effects such as this one). We might not see such effects on price chart with sharp moments but it will take place over the time. I hope that price will keep fluctuating between $500 to $800 till the end of 2017.

the reason is market panic, people panic, they think that bitcoin will fall to deep after halving, but i thinks its not. its just temporary situation. better to hold bitcoin as much as you can.

The reason from price drop from 650 USD to 600 USD is demand. If BTC demand is low, price go down, in next weeks we will see, if price will go down more. In next few weeks BTC price will show the current market value for this year.

Every drop, new threads pop up like crazy showing how people freaking out after every drop. There can be million reasons why price dropped 7 %, and people who knows that will make profit on this fluctuations like always. The supply of Bitcoin did not increase during the high dollar days. Bitcoin price cannot stay stable for long. It's a cork floating in an ocean of fiat, whether it has to increase or decrease. Now it has dropped and sure we will see an increase soon.

The big event that is probably most relevant to the recent fall in BTC prices is the Ethereum "fork" (due to the DAO "attack").

Basically all holders of ETH (at least those who held the tokens themselves rather than in an exchange) can sell as ETC and still retain their ETH (i.e. "free money" due to the fork).

If you check out the volume of BTC traded for ETC on Poloniex in the last few days you'll be amazed - my guess is many ETH holders have sold ETC to get BTC and cashed out their "windfall" which has caused downward pressure on the BTC to fiat prices.

I also think that the reason is market and people panic, they just saw a little drop in the price and rushed to sell all of their coins and in that the price dropped down much lower, I think it will come to higher price sooner within this week or in the next one, as now a lot of traders started to buy it from everywhere and so with the increased demand the price will once again increase.

Why do you dream at night? It's very hard to say why price fluctuation is occurring, or account for every dollar of rising/falling prices. It's fair to say that bitfinex has something to do with it, people get scared when they hear about security breaches when their money is involved. When people are selling because they're scared, they sell it for whatever they can at that minute and they cause a wave. Other people hear about a security breach, shortly after having and then they see the price dropping because of it.. They panic and don't want to see their coin become worthless so they sell out of fear too.
