I've cast my vote and I'd love to see a 5 coin set of the lower denominations.

For example a 0.01 btc, 0.05 btc, 0.1 btc, 0.25 btc and 0.5 btc coin in a wooden box (just like the 5x5 btc set). Titanium bars (for example 1 BTC) would be cool as well.

Please help me understand:
What would be the appeal of a "1 BTC Titanium Bar"?  Doesn't the 1 BTC Titanium coin already cover that?

The only "bar" we have is the BTC25+ "nugget", Bitcoin Block.
(We'll soon start selling the BTC12.5+ version....)

These are all "full blocks", the full bitcoin block reward.

What would be the appeal of having just 1 BTC in a "bar"?

thanks,
Bobby

Low denomination coins. Bring in a .1 and .01.

Coins are great but its time for something new. I would like to see 1oz silver bars with bitcoins and half holo wrapping.

moonrock

what's the half holo wrapping?

The appeal is that it's not a coin. Hardly any (good looking) bars have been released. 1 BTC is affordable for most of the community.

Coin ideas, mmmmh, my name is coin@coin for a reason LOL

Precious metals I agree with BTCC here, anything to have them shipped safely and without killing it on customs fees I'm in favour.

Maybe other metals like brass, copper, various others which are unusual but could be original. Have you considered plating in silver, gold, antique brass, etc?
2 or 3 coins sets in different finishes, seems to be getting some traction from several current manufacturers. Plating shouldn't be an issue for shipping.

Have you seen the Satoricoin? Why don't you release some inexpensive "Casino Chip" like BTCC coins with low amounts, sold in sets of 10 or 20.
With some really cool designs! I'd love some of these.

Smaller denominations are best for my pockets too.

No comment!  Smiley  Haha... here are my thoughts to share with you all:

Many people know that poker is my hobby...  There's a very important (long-term) reason why our One Bitcoin was 43 mm in size.
(Hint: what size are casino chips?  The LARGE denomination ones?)

So what's next from BTCC Mint?  Wink

I think I've mentioned this before but a 12.5 BTC set made up of 5 coins with different denominations: 0.50, 1, 2, 4, 5 BTC, all from the same block totalling 12.5 BTC,
and if block reward is over 12.5 one of the coins gets the extra, each set will have slightly different BTC amount.

It's an interesting idea, but my worry is that we won't sell enough volume to justify producing them.

3 stars 12.5 BTC Blocks, but as someone else mentioned, even 1 BTC blocks or smaller denomination sets of blocks.

I like the idea of smaller denomination sets too from as low as 0.05 up to 1 BTC.

Also seen you guys can mint, some limited edition sets especially in lower denominations following a theme or an event... with different designs, numbered.
Animal series, zodiacal signs series, Chinese calendar series, PokemonGo series... I mean so many ideas out there. Can even have a form on your site to submit ideas the better ones get a prize Smiley

Also don't forget your coins look pretty nice I am so sure many would be willing to buy BTCC DIY coins.

Oh and finally "block rewards on demand". Someone pays for a 12.5 block or even 5 BTC, or 1... And they can specify the address where it is sent to.
They get the coin or block with hologram (DIY version) and they assemble it themselves.

Yes, for sure, we'll have the BTC12.5+ Bitcoin Blocks.  Come back on August 8.

As for smaller denomination blocks, what's the appeal?  Or wait 4 years until the next block halving and get your BTC6.25+ Bitcoin Blocks!  Smiley

thanks,
Bobby

Also, please don't flood your coins. Releasing many types of coins in a short space is going to kill the secondary market.

Could you please elaborate on what you mean by this?

You've created a few types of coins already, and they were all released not long after each other. If you keep making new coins, people generally struggle to keep up with all the new coins. It makes a few people buy them, and not very tradeable afterwards. And I don't know how many others are like me, but I definitely prefer getting coins I know I can trade at some point.

Do you also feel like that they release a 5 coin set of different low denominations? It is likely to be affordable and it comes in 1 purchase.

Microsoul is a good example of what flooding the market means. He released a lot of different coins (which weren't directly related to each other) in a short amount of time. The quality of the coina got worse, shipping got mixed up, funding got delayed etc. That were the main issues why I stopped buying the coins.

I'd really like to see you participate in my community project to sign labels for the Encyclopedia.

+1  Makers that participate in community projects instead of just trying to profit from the community are much appreciated.

I vouch for this too, it would be awesome to have BTCC included in the signature edition. Smiley

Thanks guys.  I feel like at this point I'm begging them.  Its clear they don't wish to participate anymore, despite Bobby replying once to me by PM and providing me his personal email, asking for more specifics.   The door is always open BTCC, but I wont bug you anymore.

It would have been nice to have BTCC participate in something that 31 (and possibly more to come) other coin makers are joining in on.  Its something that the entire community can do together so we can have something tangible and a little more personal of our fellow bitcointalk members.

I might also add that every single member that was given an opportunity for a donation once I start doing orders, requested that their donation be given to charity, when given the option to keep it.  I've also seen goodness from everyone helping out minerjones' relatives recently due to a fire.

Sorry for the rant...

Hi Bobby,

Thank you for replying.  I didn't get your address.

In the interest of time, if you could PM me your mailing address to send the labels to, that's all I need.  The package will come with a letter so instructions will come with the labels.

Thank you

I agree that would be great, but you would have to escrow 26+ coins until it funds. We have seen where they hit a 2nd block so fast things get double funded. I would love to fund a Casascius bar this way though... If you guys offer this service I would love a block mined to a custom address!

Lower denomination coins would help to bulk out your range but I think it'd be best to keep limited quantities that the market can reasonably absorb. Are two metal coins like the £2 pound sterling coin possible? It might bring in new security issues if the outer ring was not properly bound to the inner round.

Bobby,

I wanted to make a post hoping you would see this.  I also sent a PM and emails today to you and Matthieu.

You should have received my package today of the labels for the Encyclopedia autographs & holos, sent in a large flat envelope by US Express Mail EMS.  Kindly check your PMs or email for more details.  I'm hoping you can open my package, review the enclosed letter, and send the signed labels & ideally holograms back as soon as you can also by Express Mail.  My deadline is rapidly approaching, so I want to allow enough time to receive the package back.

Thank you so much.

Congrats on the new release BTCC! Smiley

As for next coins... I would say that anymore coins would be too many. But if I had to choose, I would say that if you could make titanium tenths with a premium of, say, 0.005BTC or lower, I think it would do very well. Smiley

I agree with miffman a 10th with low markup would be awesome.

Also would like a poker chip kinda bitcoin with very low amount of BTC in it, like Satori.
