I do not know, I just play a really reliable, but I feel I have a lot of sites that end with a reason like that. I guess a lot of sites that do not want to pay members and argued that its website hacked, but there are also some sites that really hacked, well it's just my opinion, but it may have been many things as it happened

I like to delve into bitcoin history a lot. as we all know there've been a ton of crypto exchanges that have been hacked, but i'm really struggling to think of any gambling sites that have been hacked. maybe I haven't been paying enough attention.

does anyone know how many there've been? they seem like obvious targets to me with masses of coins flowing through them.

what are they doing differently compared to exchanges? i'll guess plenty of exchanges are inside jobs. does this mean gambling site operators are incentivized to be more honest in general too?
I will still lay the blame on these merchants who are solely responsible fir the safety of investors funds as they care to spend more on firewalls to make them non-vulnerable to attacks from hackers because they are being paid for the service they are offering and they should be held liable until then we are still waiting for another big bang because hackers will continue to hack... My opinion though...

It seems like gambling sites have actually put more effort into security in comparison to exchanges.  The ratio of gambling sites being hacked or going down has been FAR less than exchanges.
Yup, why Gambling sites will put more effort into security, Because they will invest a lot to create their site. And once they lost repute in the market, Then no player will choose that site. But in exchanges, if we compare to Gambling sites the security is very less. That is why Gambling site is better than exchanges.

I didn't heard about this any gambling got hacked as like exchanges going down because of getting hack, even some gambling getting exploited by some genius player who discovered the system to cheat the casino and make a lot of money by using this tricks, gambling sites spending a lot of money to make secure their system.

since there are many sites for gambling with high sequirity against hacking or doss attact but the hackers always hack that sites which they want .
but hack of gambling site is usually not a work of hacker . it may be the admin's mind fraud ( i had listen about this in a artical blog of google)
but reality may be any thing .
last time the sites was hacked was cloudbet .

I don't have an idea too of how many gambling sites that have been hacked or if there is any of them. And I know that their security to their funds are very secured and it is not going to be penetrated easily unless one of their staff is going to do back job for the gambling company they are working for it.

I think most gambling sites actually do keep the majority of their coins in proper cold storage as opposed to in a hot wallet on their servers.
Haven't heard of too many gambling sites being hacked.

Since i have been started work with bitcoins, i never hear about hacking any sites specially gambling, except Bitfinex. I think you are asking about hacked sites because of Bitfinex, Otherwise i am playing gambling a lot but i have trust on all sites, also i don't think that it would be happened in future.

the gambling sites is one of the favourite sites for hacker, the security for player wallets is very strong, i havent heard any single attack announce to public, i dont know whether they keep it closed or no one ever being hacked, the one that i know is hacker prefer to hack the system like the one happened in Primedice last time

Only one that comes to mind is PrimeDice. Apparently some player found some exploit and used it to make off with a few coins. There have been other website which exploits also.

I also didn't hear about something similar. Casinos probably pay a lot for a protection, and they are much safer then not licensed exchangers. Not just bitcoin casinos, also casinos for other currencies hasn't been hacked. Maybe even if that happen they keep it in secret and give their money to cover it up. Better to lose little money on that, then to ruin all business.
In real world banks and other firms with lot of money, pay good money for security, guards, protecting systems. On internet is the same situation, who pay more for protection, and organize better system will be much safer.

Yup, why Gambling sites will put more effort into security, Because they will invest a lot to create their site. And once they lost repute in the market, Then no player will choose that site. But in exchanges, if we compare to Gambling sites the security is very less. That is why Gambling site is better than exchanges.
What is totally strange for me that I don't hear about  obvious casino hacking incidents but we hear all the time about exchanges being targeted and funds stolen in a process.
So my question is - either hackers don't care about casinos or they really have amazing security...

actually that is entirely right. exchanges put a lot more effort in their security. but their hack is more important and always a lot bigger so everybody hears about it and will remember it but when a gambling site gets hacked nobody cares and it is not big enough to get into the news.

for example exchanges hack is 120KBTC but a gambling site hack is 50-100BTC at most!

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

I don't think there is a lot of gambling sites have been hacked, because usually this sites have high level of security against DDOS attacks and so, so not easy for hackers to steal them

i think you are mistaking DDoS attack with something else.
i suggest you read about it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denial-of-service_attack
it is not directly related to the hacks.

and gambling sites get hacked a lot actually, these can be smaller hacks like some small time hacker exploiting a bug in their system (it happened with primedice and many other dice sites that i remember) and win a big amount and withdraw immediately before the owner finds out and patches it.

Protection of the casinos and the gambling sites is really high and the owners of this sites pay huge amount for such security usually, that's why i think there is no many gambling sites have been hacked.

That is for sure, why you are going to create a gambling site or business that is just going to be easy get hacked. I think a single hacker is not able to hack the security and system of a gambling site for just them to be able to get the funds of the site. But maybe if they are a group well they have a chance, but as of now there is no news about it.

Gambling sites are not worth for hackers to use energies since amount is lower. Some sites have been exploited due to some unknown bugs in script. I have heard once or twice hardly about exploitation issues but hacking didn't come in my knowledge so far. Exchanges are always at risk since they flow large amount of money in hot wallets as well.
