Tried to even do a password reset and that wouldn't work. Maybe they are in on it, who knows. Since I can't change my password or add 2FA I get an email address indicating the user signing in daily to make sure I have no funds in there. All I have is their IP address which is most likely not their real one. Be very careful if you have a balance there. Just trying to help.

Go ahead, try to do a password reset on your own and you'll see.

I don`t have an account there and i will never use it.

Maybe the problem is in your account only.

Have you asked customer support?

Why would you even use BTC-E?

BTC-e is fine

Title is completely misleading. I just happened to have done a withdrawel this morning which went through faster than anything I have ever seen before.

Initiate withdraw, confirm the e-mail, coins are sent seconds after confirming the e-mail. This is not the work of a hacked exchange, rather someone who doesn't know how his account works.

Yes, I logged in after a year of never using them and successfully withdrew some change (about 0.2 BTCs worth of BTC and NMC) that I had accumulated in there. The only reason I use them is because I don't want to run my own NMC node/wallet and I get a trickle of NMC from merged mining.

nothing wrong with BTC-E as an exchange service they are safe so far.

and the same thing like OP has happened to me before, it is our own fault. i was using a simple password (something like 123) and i used it in a lot of other places and my reason was that i wasn't using BTC-E back then so i used a fast simple pass.
the funny thing is that the hacker was loging in every day to check my balance lol and each day he was disappointed becasue it was the same as yesterday: a big fat ZERO

I am using BTC-E since very early 2013 and never had any problems. I just tried to do a password reset and everything works as I expected. No problems here.
