what kind of freak holds their friends to those types of terms? evidently this person doesn't know much about bitcoin themselves otherwise they'd know perfectly well it's impossible to get that type of return without a very strong chance of not getting anything back.

Yeah, this seemed kind of sketchy from the beginning. I don't understand how this guy (OP's friend) expects his friend to get him a 33% return on his investment. It's his money and he shouldn't be making his friends earn him money. Especially $580 USD in 2 months. @OP, if you are still reading this thread, follow European Central Bank's advice and give him the money back, and tell him to do it himself. You aren't his money-making tool. |

Yes trading is the best way to grow your coins in short term but you should invest in trading only if you have good knowledge and skills related to trading. |

I would be happy with 3 bitcoins, that is good money for keeping, in this moment that is close to 2000$, and for couple years it can be double or even more.
My advice is same like you had chance to read about, keep them, and try to make a bit more with signature campaigns, different faucets and promotions. That is what I plan to do with coins I make, you just have 3 bitcoins, I start from nothing.

You might even end up losing all those 3 bitcoins that your friend wants to loan you, because of the high amount of interest he asks for. Chances are you will use it for gambling to be able to reach that amount in a very short period of time. Trading could also be an alternative, especially now that the price is still on the buy side, I think. |

Don't get the Bitcoin until you know that you can definitely pay the 4 BTC back. Some ways to increase your holdings is to: trade invest in other things (gold, ETH...etc) gamble (not recommended from experience) Hope this helped.  |

I will put some of it in trading bitcoin and altcoin and rest I will keep in cold storage for future so even if my trade goes wrong I will be having some btc as a back up which will be helpful for me in future.
if you want to save some of the bitcoin and when you lose in the trade and you think it's not a problem. I think you have to divide the larger your money on storing in cold storage maybe 70% and 30% you could use to trade bitcoin or altcoin. I think it is a great option |

If you have 3 btc maybe the half of them is invest in trading and the half is in bitcoin. While waiting bitcoin increase you do trading to gain your income and get more bitcoin. Bitcoin is a good investment for long time but we need an extra income so do trading or find some investment that good for you and make save your income there to increase your bitcoin earnings.
