Yeah, this seemed kind of sketchy from the beginning. I don't understand how this guy (OP's friend) expects his friend to get him a 33% return on his investment. It's his money and he shouldn't be making his friends earn him money. Especially $580 USD in 2 months.

Yes trading is the best way to grow your coins in short term but you should invest in trading only if you have good knowledge and skills related to trading.

   I would be happy with 3 bitcoins, that is good money for keeping, in this moment that is close to 2000$, and for couple years it can be double or even more.
   My advice is same like you had chance to read about, keep them, and try to make a bit more with signature campaigns, different faucets and promotions. That is what I plan to do with coins I make, you just have 3 bitcoins, I start from nothing.

If you believe in playing it safe then I think you should not experiment with your coins by investing it anywhere, better to keep it safe in cold storage for future.

Okay and the OP also doesn't know much about bitcoin, because if he knows about bitcoin and why he was feeling confused to choosing the way to dealing with his borrowed amount. and in all of the condition is not good to starting something with borrowed amount.

You can try to trading altcoins but it is high risk and i don't recomended it if you don't have any experience. You should try trading altcoins for small amount for first time.

You might even end up losing all those 3 bitcoins that your friend wants to loan you, because of the high amount of interest he asks for. Chances are you will use it for gambling to be able to reach that amount in a very short period of time. Trading could also be an alternative, especially now that the price is still on the buy side, I think.

i have experience in altcoin trading more than 3year but still not easy to choose altcoin, we can buying altcoin in fail price but sometimes after we buy it, the price will fail more and more.

I will put some of it in trading bitcoin and altcoin and rest I will keep in cold storage for future so even if my trade goes wrong I will be having some btc as a back up which will be helpful for me in future.

your money on storing in cold storage maybe 70% and 30% you could use to trade bitcoin or altcoin. I think it is a great option

If you have 3 btc maybe the half of them is invest in trading and the half is in bitcoin. While waiting bitcoin increase you do trading to gain your income and get more bitcoin. Bitcoin is a good investment for long time but we need an extra income so do trading or find some investment that good for you and make save your income there to increase your bitcoin earnings.
