I'm thinking about add a rx 480 to my rig, but I preffer one with dual bios.

I can buy locally these:

XFX AMD Radeon RX 480 XXX OC 8GB GDDR5
Asus AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB GDDR5
Gigabyte AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB GDDR5
MSI AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB GDDR5

I know that perhaps next 10 of August the Sapphire version is available.

The problem is that like I said, I preffer one with dualbios, because I'm mining ETH and I want to underclock CPU Mhz and overclock a little the Memory to decrease the amount of power and increase a little bit the hashrate.

I'm wondering if someone in this group has one of this and can confirm me the dualbios feature, because sometimes in the webpage of the manufacturer it's not especified.

The xfx does not have a dual bios switch.  I have found no rx 480 one with a switch.

I have a few r9 390's and I mix the rigs  1 r9 390's  and the reset rx 480's   the r9 390  has the display plugged into it and has a dual switch.

So if I crash I can hit the switch on the r9 390 to the stock bios and reset everything.

I have 4 ASUS boards, they have no switch, as far as I know, there is no Reference 480 with dual BIOS... Other than that, GPUS are rock stable...

Ok, I'm trying to find info about ASUS, but dualbios is not added in its webpages. However,  I found some pages... I think a mistake  Roll Eyes :

https://www.mightyape.co.nz/product/ASUS-AMD-Radeon-RX-480-8GB-Graphics-Card/25290249

I think they are wrong, but I don't know...

Ref stand for "Reference" (board) its all the same.

You will need to look into rx 480 nitro. A non ref GPU.
