I sent some BTC to my TorWallet yesterday. The transaction is marked as successful but they dont appear in my wallet. Can someone help me declare where they are?

https://blockchain.info/de/tx-index/166579228/0

The TorWallet is 1LoC2zeqTVLFTSGbisF4zoi9NM5GqT8Xe3

Are they stolen? Lost? Whatever?!

Thx in advance!

I don't know about torwallet, is it a online wallet or a desktop wallet? If its a online wallet you will need to contact the site's support and let them know about the problem and if its a desktop wallet be sure to fully sync your wallet first

Seems like Torwallet has a shady past, there have been concerns since 2012

Bottom line: don't use online wallets... If you don't controll your own private key, you don't controll your funds.
If you have any VALID reason to trust a stranger with your keys (an online wallet), at least pick one that has a solid reputation instead of using one that's unknown.

Like Xanidas said, your only chance is contacting their support dept. They're the ones controlling your funds Sad

the torwallet's address had received the bitcoin and moved the funds to another address,i don't know whether torwallet is works like an exchanger
but the main point the funds had been moved https://blockchain.info/tx/200a509dd24b54e8a61f2b9b6c9e548edd2a9dd9b00c96b143ced36e48530ab3
if the system works like blockchain.info they're probably stealing your privkey and scamming you

I am sorry for what happened to you but I hope at least you have learned the lesson the hard way and now there is only one way for you. Go and install Electrum or Multibit which are both more secure desktop wallets than online ones. Private keys are in your PC so you are in charge of your bitcoins. Let's start a new journey and completely forget about online wallets once and for all if you want to not be hacked again.

I'm using Blockchain.info since 2013. Never had a single problem with it. You can use online wallets, but you got to make sure it's a safe choice. Don't go for wallets promising too much - these are the most dangerous ones.

1. were you using tor wallet for the first time ?
2. where did you hear about tor wallet ?
3. did you do any research before using that scummy wallet ?
btw, torwallet was gone a long time ago. from now onwards, before using any service, you should atleast do some research on it. lesson learned.
