It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I would put the full amount into my site getfreebitcoin.com for my TwitterGames and newbie raffles. The whole point of the site is to help spread the enjoyment of bitcoin to those who can't buy any/don't know much about bitcoin in general. I usually hold a Tgame or raffle everyday with a 0.01BTC prize, sometimes twice a day. As you can imagine that gets pretty expensive. So far I have been able to pay about 50/50, that is 50% out of pocket, and 50% on the btc generated from newbies clicking the links on my site (which lead to more free giveaways). I hope one day to make it so that the site is self sufficient, and can generate its own prize money. For now I am content with the occasional donation by fellow advocates of spreading the word of BTC, and my own coinage, but a 1BTC donation to the sites newbie giveaway will surely allow me to up the prize money/get rid of some of the coinurl links (hate those things).

Well that is what I would do with it, if anyone wants to donate to the site, or you decide that the idea is worth while, the newbie raffle/giveaway fund address is in my signiture!

Thanks for holding something like this!

I would create a paper wallet and give it as a tip to some waiter or waitress with instructions on how to redeem it. I think if it's still holding its present value, it would be a great tip for the night and get someone to look into it and probably tell their colleagues about how they got tipped a Bitcoin worth X amount of dollars. (:

I would employ the services of this Lady: https://www.bitmit.net/en/item/9531-special-video-made-by-me-and-you-xxx

to get naked and teach science in a sexy way, and upload it to a porn site, Thereby providing education to the viewing audience.

I would finally pay my friend to have my wallets qr code tattooed on his forearm. with the other .25 I would pay my coworkers out in small fractions for their assistance on a bitcoin centric project, simultaneously introducing them to bitcoin and spreading the love.

I'd use it to help fund an online "mental health" forum where people are given a monetary (BTC) incentive to help others.  The premise is the following:  Utilizing something similar to Facebook's "Like" feature, the forum would allow for a "tipping" mechanism.  Specifically, one set of users would be using the forum to give advice and support to others, and another set of users would be the ones asking for support or venting their problems.  If these users "like" the advice they receive, they can indicate this and the helper will receive a small BTC tip for their time and consideration.  This monetary incentive would help to mitigate the typical problems you find on social networking sites, particularly mental health ones (e.g. ridicule, humiliation, psychopathy, etc.).

This one BTC would help kickstart the tip jar Smiley

To develop one funny game that could collect coins, and surely these coins would be bitcoins, or part of them would be bitcoins, depend on the volume of your coins.

(Lunch is $8.34 so i might just pull that off, MC Donalds Angus Bacon Large with Orange Drink)  Long 5 Hour buss ride tho....

With your 1BTC I'll get a developer to make a pop up for www.btcaid.org. This pop up will be a javascript miner so people can raise funds for a great cause while doing their daily chores on their computers/laptop.

Check my thread in the project dev forum https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=157162.0

I would use the 1BTC to invest in various businesses (like satoshi dice) then sell off all shares for a profiit.I would then recycle 2 thirds of the profit into more ventures and repeat this cycle a few times.Eventually cash everything out for a profit and start off my career in film/TV (must happen within 6 months after I start the whole plan).
