Thanks HorseRider!

It may be a good idea to upgrade the firmware - I read that new firmware increases the hashing rate by a big factor. Not sure if that was already done for us...

Also, any timeframe on OC testing? Would really love to make as many BTC as possible these first couple of months - as the difficulty is increasing insanely.

Thank you.

I received a module early this week.  The owner had it cross-shipped to me.  It was packaged very well, in a custom made plywood box.  All cables were included.  The pins on various plugs were protected with foam.

I try to be respectful and informed.

Confirming I received my unit last week, as above HorseRider had repackaged into a wooden crate for safe transport which was appreciated.

Today I finally received my 4-module Avalon. Customs as well as DHL really screwed me bad this time  Angry

But now I have another 100 GH/s at hand and I'm happy.

Thanks HorseRider!  Smiley

Yeah, well, I'm gonna go build my own blockchain. With blackjack and hookers! In fact forget the blockchain.

Any update?

wisard, mining is ongoing. But the mining revenue is less and less, and I am quite busy. So I pay the dividend less regularly. But the mined coin will continue to be paid out by the mining pool to the address. We all know that all the Batch 3 customers cannot make their money back by mining, and I am preparing a gift for my group buy customers.(Please do not see this as a promise, I am only trying.)

Thank you for your efforts HorseRider, this would be much appreciated as we have only recovered about a 1/3 of our investment (strictly in bitcoins), which is a major disappointment, to say the least...

1 module mined ~0.3btc in last 20 days, shitload, yeah.. Do you really think that with daily payouts of 0.015 btc you'd be more happy?

If the Avalon people had the same ethics and honor as HorseRider, we'd be celebrating our prosperity right now.

Are you being sarcastic ?

Although avalon messed up, the people invloved in this group buy have lost a fortune because HorseRider without consultation chose NOT to accept the refund that avalon offered.

OK your points are well-taken.

I'll share some facts.

When it came time for the decision, HR strongly recommended that we take the refund and I was leaning towards going forward with taking delivery. In the end, I said I would go with whatever he decided. But my understanding that the final reason not to take the refund was the worry that the refund would not come. Did those who requested refund actually GET refunds?

As for the delay in payouts, I get your point. To me it doesn't matter as BTC "cash-flow" is not the issue, but final eventual payout is the issue.

We got screwed by Avalon.

I think he suffered most of the whole group since most of the Avalons are his if i'm not mistaken. And generally we as a group are no exception from any other batch 3 buyer. One man's loss is another man's gain proved painfully true in our case. Considering the amount of people and BTC's involved in the batch 3 delay i'm surprised that no one has sued Yifu yet.

My opinion is that it would be good to come to some sort of agreement about the dividend payment frequency. The way i see it we have two options (beside current):

1. periodic payouts - weekly/biweekly/monthly payments
2. payments when a certain amount is reached - when x BTC threshold is reached, dividend is payed.

In this way it would be more or less clear when we can expect coins. Please feel free to add any better option than two above if you have one.
