lol oh wait the usual polo cartel working with miners/whale bot pumpers to collect all this coin at SUB 1k sats...only to get a polo add and it starts botting at 20k sats or so.  they laugh all the way to the bank while idiot sheep buy buy buy and "try to swing trade bro".   

as usual can't take most of crypto serious still and polo yet again confirms how shady as fuck they are.

i've been using poly - everything has always gone smooth... but this PASC thing is shady, i agree... there cannot be real buyers of PASC , because you first need an account, and only miners have accounts and miners are sellers... and you cant buy accounts on poly ... so this one is a pump and dump BY DESIGN!

this is a coin that asked for nothing. anyone could have participated and made legit profits off the smallest of rigs, for months. thats incredibly rare in crypto these days and getting upset about it is an odd reaction.

its not a coin ... its only called a coin, a coin can be sent to someone in exchange for something else... if i coded by own PASC wallet, I still have no way to receive any "PASC coin" ... because you need an "account" - so if PASC accounts were on poly then I would be ok with it...

an account is worth ~25 coins... its funny how accounts are free, but coins are trading on poly.. when accounts are the thing thats secured by the blockchain.. the coins should be free

the chain generates a lot of accounts, I don't think they are meant to be scarce.

one account can contain many coins, and the number of accounts is more than the current number of people who could possibly be interested in running a wallet. so the price of accounts should be low all things considered. in a theoretical, unlikely future where the number of people seeking accounts is more than the number of accounts generated the price would start to rise.

4 or 5 accounts and 100 coins a block are generated, from what i understand ... but the white-paper was translated from Catalan language into english so hard to read.

I finally have one of my rigs mining but whats the chance of hitting a block now

Looks like only adaseb in this thread knows the magic how to calc that chance, but he does not want to share it with us. I asked three times. May be it is obvious for everyone here, but I just don't get it.

First, somehow he gets a strange number from current target ("right now the target is 000000000000A"), which does NOT corresponds to current target's first bytes, or I convert it the wrong way... so I don't know how to get that number and where to start.
Update: tried another miner (Volksholk) and finally found where that number come from. It's "target_pow" in the proxy window.

Second, again, "somehow" he converts those zeroes to a number of hashes needed to find the block ("so 281474976710656 hashes to find a block").

And third is easy: divide that hashes number by your hashrate to know how many seconds (approximately) you'll need to find a block.

Practical example of current situation: I'm running a small GPU farm, have about 40+GH on Pascal, and got only two blocks in last 12 hours.
May be something's wrong with v0.2 miner, I don't know. May be I should have tried Vorksholk's miner... but setting up one command line window per each GPU when you have 100 of them is kind of nightmare

Don't know about blocks, but it is many hours. Minimum that I got was 4, but it could take 6 or more.

Can't seem to transfer funds from some of my mined accounts.

You must wait 100 maturation blocks prior to send or receive coins, or to change key...

Wallet is password protected. Need password.

Then I click on the password button, but nothing happens. Please help me!
