aw running 1 hours still no block with 50x 480 8gb.. i missing something??
Yes. You are missing hundreds of 480. With 105 RX480 I got only 8 blocks yesterday. And now, with these crazy price spikes, I am 14 hours without a block already. Big boys came into town. People mine solo with 600mh, i have 3650 and you say that i need 50+ cards to solo mining?)
Exactly. See above. From what I understand, even if you have 100+ GPUs, each works alone, different from what happens in the pools. Me for example, with only one RX 390 I found 1 block in the first 4 hours of mining. So luck counts a lot.

Thanks Pascalcoin for the Bubble-Rollercoaster ride! I sold too early as usual, but made a nice profit on what I CPU-mined back this summer. Something like a conservatively 70x profit

PASCAL MINING PROFITABILITY CALCULATOR
Check the target. Currently its 30416083
Take the first 2 bits "30" and change from HEX into DEC and you get 48
Take
2^48= 281,474,976,710,656 hashes
Now look at the 3rd bit, its 4. Take 4 / 16 = 0.25
Take 0.25 * 281,474,976,710,656 = 70,368,744,177,664
Add that to the original 2^48
281,474,976,710,656 + 70,368,744,177,664 = 351,843,720,888,320 hashes on average to find 1 block.
If your farm is 1 GH/s
351,843,720,888,320 / 1,000,000,000 = 351,843.72088832 seconds to find a block
Or 5864 Minutes to find a block
Or 97 Hours to find a block
Or 4.07 Days to find a block.

I also sold at cheaper price but now price is moving to the moon so pascalcoin is very profitable for everyone who will buy at the current price. This one has potential to get place at more high position.

Simple question about Poloniex:
It's usual for new coins listed to have this volume and price increment?
Somebody knows what is happening? And why?

The miner seems to be very CPU intensive. Mine with 1-2 GPU on a rig and the hash is 500-600, mine with 6-7 GPU on a rig and it is the same. Is there a way around this? I have tried using the remaining GPU's on a different coin but they suffer as well.
I think your JAVA crashed. Close the miner and the wallet and check your Running Programs, you JAVA.EXE might use 50% or 100% CPU. Usually killing that program and restarting the miner helps. Thanks...I mined this coin back a couple of months ago--now I need to find that darn wallet Can the proxy be on only 1 machine and the rest connecting to it like the old Ethereum proxy? (using the 0.2 miner) Thanks

You understand it correctly. Luck counts, variance is crazy when solomining. You can find a block in first hours, or you can mine for days without one. The more GPUs you have, the less variance and the more stable income will be. Day ago I waited for 8 hours to find a block, and then found two in an hour.

(using the 0.2 miner) Thanks I think you can but I never did because keep in mind that the proxy needs to seperate each GPU so the nonce is different so you aren't doing the same work. The Payload is limited so if you have too many GPUs on 1 proxy, the GPUs will do the same work twice. I had this issue where a R9 290 kepts submitting the same noonce more than once because it ran too fast. It might be fixed with the newer miner however.

Gotcha--well i was using the other miner and the hashrate was showing like 500000 Mh - wasn't sure if it is something I was doing wrong or the miner is labeled incorrectly. So i switched to the 0.2 version miner. Seems to be lacking in info for just about everything, maybe a little more content or links in the OP would be helpful

So let's start a Twitter campaign for asking Poloniex to offer PascalCoin account trading (PASA).
From now on, I will offer one account for every Tweet requesting PASA trading on Poloniex. Your tweet must contains the following: #PascalCoin @poloniex $PASA
Once done, PM me your tweet and your PascalCoin public key!
Ok, so let me be clear about this because I already got a few irrelevant PMs. You won't receive any PASC from me, only 1 PASA. So, I need your Public key: to get your public key, 1) go to Menu>Project>Private keys (shortcut CTRL+P) 2) click on "New for miner ..." to enable the public key button 3) click on the button Export public key 4) the public key is pasted in your clipboard and you can then PM it to me. Keep tweeting for 1 free PASA
