The worse possible coin for mass adoption... Feels like walk to bank to open bank account

Says the person with another generic scam ICO in their signature. Pascal is perhaps the best tech out there right now. The accounts are what allow the blockchain to be trimmed. The accounts carry your balance and can also potentially carry other information like your medical records or whatever information you feel like adding.  The blockchain confirms the transactions, but eventually that paper trail gets trimmed after enough time has passed. This ability to trim the transaction history offers a number of benefits included enhanced security since the paper trail is eventually erased, however the balances remain in the accounts.

I can't believe people don't see how useful this is, those people who want their coin to have "privacy" ... right now the bitcoin blockchain is getting bigger and bigger because the ability to trim the transaction history doesn't exist, so every transaction that has ever existed is there. That's all well and good, but I think Pascal has a place when we are looking for scalable coins. Admittedly I don't think any big corporations would use the tech because they like their paper trail, though I might be wrong.

A coin that automatically can trim it's transaction records after a set period of time, say 3 years, would be the future... even moreso if it can be used to confirm and store other information, data, medical records, all using the account numbers.  The account numbers are merely the medium that stores information the blockchain confirms. That allows the blockchain trim to exist in the first place. It would be like if bitcoin deleted the transaction history after the required confirmations, since there's no real reason to have to store transaction history until the end of time, as long as the proper parties received their funds and they are secure.
You can run a pruned node.

Ok the reasoning is understood, way too much spam and unneeded havoc come from arbitrary account registration but I see no relationship between these limits that are imposed on account creation and ability to take advantage of existing features. Does the enormous quantity of accounts impact scaling?

at this time there is no lack of accounts.

if such problem appears in the the future it may be solved with protocol changing (i.e. hardfork).

I don't have a windows pc and it appears that the only Pascal wallet is compatible with Windows. Does this mean that I am simply out of luck and unable to purchase a PASC account with the PASC coins that I own on my Cryptopia account? A wallet is needed in order to generate a public key at www.getpasa.com and I do not believe there is a way around this.  Do Pascal developers plan to integrate support for Mac users?

Also, can anyone opine on the investment merits of Pascal Lite good or bad or indifferent?

Has not worked for several weeks. Therefore lost 70 pascals.
It only works unencrypted
I am now doing everything with CRYPTOPIA
But must also be unencrypted

very strange cause i've always used encrypted with destination public key option and got no problems at all.

maybe this should be a highlighted info for all (new) users

... please make an educated guess !

Yes,
I checked Don't encrypt(Public payload).
I just verified that I put the correct Destination account and Payload Data.
It works in the past (few months back) with version 1.3 and 1.4.
Yesterday, I downloaded and used version 2.0.0
I just lost 84 pasc
Thanks for all

I have been mining pascal from past 2 days continuously from 6 machines using nanopool dorectly to poloniex wallet and as per the nanopool they have paid me more than 30 PASC. But not even a single coin is showing under my poloniex account. I verified various places regarding the miner string and there seems to be no problem in that. Then why am I not getting the payout? I tried doing the same with Cryptopia but they says that wallet update needed so I'm unable tp generate the wallet address there. They also specifically says "Please do not mine directly to your Cryptopia addresses, We do not support generated transactions from pools like P2Pool etc." so does it mean that they do not support mining directly to wallet? Also for 3 days I mined pascal on my poloniex account at around 28th March 2017 and never faced any problem at that time. Please help me guys. I tried a lot.

Poloniex is having problems. Do not send any coins to a Poloniex acccount. You can mine coins to Poloniex as you are not paid until the coins are mature. But since Poloniex is having issues you will probably never get the coins you mined. Mine to Cryptopia or better to your own account. You cannot use P2Pool because new coins are generated directly and exchanges do not accept newly mined (created) coins.

Polo doesn't care about this coin at all because they are going to delist it!

I really doubt polo will be delisting coins any time soon unless they want to send even more volume to  Bittrex.

it's 100 % polo's issue 'cause i made 2 test payments with different payloads (paublic and encrypted with destination public key) – and none has arrived yet.

u need to wait until problem be solved.

It's better for him to forget about this shitcoin! And never buy and mine it!

95% of coins are down in value and volume. Get over yourself. You're not a savior.
