There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

$20 for a correct answer
' You can't, next time include a fee. Also, upgrade to 0.8.1 or apply a manual workaround by May 15. My answer was correct should I give you an address?

If the fee was included there is nothing you can do but wait for it to be pushed through. You can't "fix" it. 1DpfEDzNHEYFoN8QDCR5hrFAHssFT2UwcR

Didn't do anything it just confirmed instantly after about 24hrs.Think its from most all users updating to the new version.I'll be doing that also in the next day or so.
