Announcing that Satoshi Direct is now accepting additional payment methods.  In all honesty, this announcement is somewhat with mixed emotions because we felt like accepting anything other than Bitcoin was a betrayal to the community.  However, we received requests from the community to accept other payments, and frankly, we've learned that not all Bitcoin enthusiasts are using crypto as an everyday payment method yet.  One community member even described accepting other payment methods as having a buy side - sell side (or bid/ask) kind of option, where if the Bitcoin price is high customers can pay with crypto and if it's low they can pay with traditional currencies.

So we hope the community finds this as a great announcement and will support Satoshi Direct as a Bitcoin business.

Thank you everyone who participated in Satoshi Direct's video game reviews campaign.  We received 130 reviews and paid out more than $800 in total coupons!!  More important, the feedback we received from the community has been great and we've worked hard to implement changes as fast as we could, and still have a long list of tasks to complete.  Some of the recommendations we implemented:

• Accept other forms of payment.  Customers told us that there are times they don't want to sell their Bitcoin and would rather have other pay options.  We now accept Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, Amazon Payments, and PayPal.
• Add delivery, platform, region, and OS information to games.  We took it a step further and added shipped from and delivery information to products too.  (By the way, we currently offer Free International Shipping on all products.)
• Make search more visible.  We use blue to highlight important information on the site and are testing a blue search icon to see if it helps users locate the search function.
• We implemented instant game key delivery.  (Though we have experienced some growing pains as we've worked out some bugs.)
• We added an apparel category at one customers request.
• And much more...

We are making daily updates to Satoshi Direct and hope we're creating something valuable for the community.  Please shoot us any feedback that would win your business and make you a loyal customer of Satoshi Direct.

I know, thank you. Out of 2,200 visitors to our site, yours was our only retail purchase in the entire month of September. I budgeted to run the site for a full year. Healthy ecommerce sites convert 1%-2% of visitors to a sale. I was looking for a 0.25%-0.5% sales rate to continue, because it is a new site. What we received was a 0.04% rate. So our test was not successful. And that's ok, like trading you have to be willing to cut your bad trades. Yes it's emotional to make this decision, we put a LOT of effort into this site over the last four months, but we can't let emotions make our decisions for us.
