Other people might have a different take on this:

It's one of the older coins in the cryptocurrency space and quite well known which feeds into it's popularity. It is essentially just a Casascius aluminium with a hologram, hiding a private key on the back. It is loaded with 0.10 bitcoin. Only 48 were produced and every one was numbered, the user greenplastic bought four of these in auctions a few months back.
