Yes many of its users joined because of the bandwagon but it is certain that some of the players have abandoned the game a long time ago . This might happen if nintendo looks for a way to improve its popularity again but first bitcoin must be extremely popular first but its not, so there is only a small chance that this might happen .

I remember tho that some people earned a lot of money by selling pokemon go accounts back when it is extremely popular .

Well it could work but for a fraction of thinking it hard it is just a waste of time for some others, but there are so many Pokemon fans out there are are willing to give money for this kind of stuff I think it might work for some, but the number of playing Pokemon go today are depleting so the outcome might be a chance of it will or it will not!

Actually, they would not allow any such intentions XD. They don't care about us earning in their game it's about them who earned from us players

That is the main reason why pokemon go sky rocketed within just one night because of that idea you were saying but we kind deny the fact that it has a lot of drawbacks and as they have said the longer you play the more time you get bored as well.

So few people play Pokemon Go now, especially compared to its release numbers, it's going to be borderline impossible for a large amount of players to meaningfully trade. Even then the region locked Pokemon that exist are mediocre gets if anything, and the legendary Pokemon are too common now for them to mean anything.

It's mediocre, and it won't happen. It was an ok idea, but it's done now.

Well, I think it will happen, when, many developers have started to accept bitcoin. perhaps with the receipt bitcoin, then, everyone can start generating bitcoin with a program like the Pokemon games. but, maybe it will happen when pokemon already became famous again

It won't really happen in my opinion. If a Pokemon GO-like game will be released, I'm pretty sure it won't become as popular. If Bitcoin would be implemented into Pokemon GO.... Which I doubt, it might have success or they won't be allowed because "Bitcoin is widely used for illegal transactions" which is a completely false idea.

Are we just ignoring the potential of the GAME and MobileGo platforms? Not only will in-game currency be possible, but also we will be able to sell in-game assets and characters. Tournaments, matchmaking, and game economics will be so integrated that it will be a wonder how a decentralized virtual gaming currency was never implemented before.

Of course, it would take Nintendo to actually adopt the technology and platform and develop for it, but the reality we are describing and wishing for is actually closer than we think.

Is Pokemon go still that popular these days? Haven't seen anyone play it anymore here on the streets since around one month after launch.
Also, wouldn't Nintendo be pretty quick to shut any kind of marketplace down? They're not too keen about anyone using their copyright.

It was once a nice concept and I forgot what it was, but it became live on some parts of the US way back 2015. The concept was bitcoins were scattered all around the globe, and you need to locate them using your phone's GPS and an application made by the devs. The goal was to let people know each other along the way while earning something for their exercise. It would be nice if it was globalized though.

This is a creative idea and if Pokemon Go will let people to earn bitcoin by catching pokemon and winning the tournaments then it will become a big adventure for us and there will be a lot of people in the street that are playing Pokemon Go and it will become a mainstream game and also a good promotion for bitcoin to be fully adopted by the video gamers.
