We are given only a tiny piece of information, we don't know what his real portfolio is made up of that would reveal his objectives. I guess many would pay a high price to get that knowledge real-time (his fund for which he is obliged to disclose info may just be a veil to hide his real intentions)...

He is said to be doubling his short positions allegedly betting for another collapse, but we don't know his long positions, so we can't be sure what he is actually up to...

Since naked shorts isn't something that speculators of the Soros caliber usually stick to
