no need to worry. the price goes up and down a few bucks, nothing special. and no, i can't see the price go below $500 as that would be completely unneeded and sad. it would mean the price is over-sold. so if it's happening, then don't wait a second, but start buying as many coins as possible. i will surely do so.

Yes 500$ is not possible price until the end of 2016 also we can expect a little increase in the coming two months up 600$ because the liquidity of bitcoin market will come to its end . boom will be in 2017+ up 1000$ .

There was a huge pressure on the prices till yesterday but it seems it is gone. As long as something unordinary happens (like an exchange hack) i think it won't go below 560$ there is a strong support at that price point.

My prediction would stbale above $500, it will not fall below $500, although it may. but I'm sure it really will not fall below $500.
the price will be increased slowly and increase to $600 end of the month of August or beginning of September.

Perhaps but no lower than $350 unless it's a flash crash. $500 and $450 will both be strong support levels on the way down. After the drop, everyone here can celebrate about the cheap prices but for now just be patient.

it will be a good timing for us to buy more btc if the crash happen getting it for only 350$ would be a good start point for our investment i'm not worried about that because for sure before year end it will hit 800-1k for my personal opinion. good luck mate and keep monitoring the price.

I hope that the price will not hit that value but i believe that the price will not go down because many stores right now are accepting bitcoin and i think if they see the price is low they will buy a large amount of bitcoin..

Price was at $575 few hours back and now its $568 so price is going down slowly and I will not be surprised if it falls back and goes below to $550 level in next few days.

Isn't it possible if another exchange gets hacked? Bitfinex got hacked due to a mistake on their part and not a mistake in bitcoin.

It's funny how people say there was a huge drop while it was just normal market action. Just look at the charts. You'll see that the price has been moving in up and downwards direction for quite some time now. Possibility for the price to go below $500 is very low, but not impossible. If the current market sentiment changes into negative, then funny things can happen. Price going sub $500 also belongs in that category.

500 seems to be a logical secenario before the halving. Now 1 month after the halving i would say it would stabilize.
Hopefully in the area of 600-650, but it looks more in the  550-600 area

Its hard to see that bitcoin will cross $600 in next few weeks, may be it can even go below $550 in next couple of days, as people are much more interested in altcoin at a moment.

I don't think $500 would be that big of a drop and I would not be surprised if it dropped that low. We are going to see fluctuations in price due to supply and demand and because of news or info about bitcoin.

I think the price nowadays is far from the 500$ level, and i guess the price will increase soon and will not drop down to less than 500$
