Is the bitcoin price crashing? $500 is a huge drop for bitcoin.

Will the bitcoin price go lower than $500?

I believe it is capable of going lower than $500 if there is another big dump that will be caused by another hacking incident. Most of you will think that lightning will not strike again should always expect the worst when dealing with bitcoins. We have not seen everything yet in the bitcoin scene. But I also think there is strong buy support under $500 and it should also be considered as an opportunity to buy cheap coins. So I do not think it will stay under $500 long. But under $600? It will until the end of the year or more.

i agree, but that big dump that you are talking about will not happen out of nowhere. there should be some kind of initiative for the dump like the bitfinex hack or something of similar nature then such dump can happen.
otherwise the price will start to rise soon and will go back to $650+

whenever i see a topic like this i lose faith in people a little more. opening a price chart is so easy, open bitcoinwisdon or even coindesk to see price is still around $570 and with no drop so far, so i don't really understand what is happening in OP's mind when he says there is crash!!

people are either too lazy or too ignorant to look at things from a wider angle. another reason could be that they have a 6 hour live chart open. if the price goes down a few bucks, then it might look more severe than it in reality is.

Is the bitcoin price crashing? $500 is a huge drop for bitcoin.

Will the bitcoin price go lower than $500?
In my opinion not least the bitcoin in the $ 500 price . Because they do not allow the majority of traders to down it . Maybe next month will increase the price of bitcoin would be increased to recover my lost when bitcoin goes down. Maybe bitcoin traders become millioner in the next 2-5 years because bitcoin have potential to increase up to 2000$.

haha, good points.
but i seriously doubt that OP has ever seen a bitcoin chart in his life because if he did see one, he wouldn't have said bitcoin is down to $500 and would have never asked "Is the bitcoin price crashing?".

the bitcoin price is once again reaching another horizontal line after the bitfinex crash and come back.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.

It does not sound very realistic, but it would be a good time to fill the bags.
Agreed. anyone who have money and can buy bitcoin. they should buy now. prediction of future of bitcoin is hard. but bitcoin have great potential there is no doubt.

I am guessing bitcoin will fall further and touch $350 next months unless some miracles happen
To drop like that it also need a miracle then.. why do you think bitcoin will touch 350$ mark? bitcoin demand is increasing and it won't let bitcoin to get down like that.

Bitcoin price is still above $550, I don't think it would fall below $500 as of these days, but of course I still consider it happening. I mean, if it happens, then it is still okay with me and will just go with the flow. No one knows what will happen every day, hour, minute with bitcoin, right? What I'm sure of is, I will support bitcoin and I believe on its potential.

I think it was only a little dump in the price of bitcoin as occurs normally and sooner we will see that the price of bitcoin will once again start to increase.

By the way $500 is not a deep drop, as before that we have saw some much deeper drops where the price reached from $1200 to $250 , and it re-bounced again

Whoever bought bitcoin at $700+ will already have lost a lot of money. Although if they bought when the price was at $400+, it probably wouldn't matter to them since they would be in profit.

Not necessarily true. You only lose money when you sell your coins below your buying price. If you keep holding your coins, then you don't lose anything. It's all relative. I have had such a situation where the price kept dropping very deep after I bought some coins. I kept holding and eventually ended up making a very decent profit with these coins. Staying calm in your head and having patience works. Smiley

After the events involving Bitfinex, it was revealed that the bitcoin really has resilience, being able to recover quickly
from big drops. I believe it will be difficult to see it under 500 USD again this year.

Wtf is the logic behind that statement? You want to sell your Bitcoins at $600, even though you are predicting that the price will rise to $700 in November to December? So you are willing to piss away a $100 extra profit on each and every bitcoin you own?

If Bitcoin is a problem to you, just get rid of it now, we will be very happy to buy it and sell it for a profit, come December. ^smile^

I think he is having having some sort of debt which he will cover by selling his coins if the price goes up high enough. At least, that's what I can make up from his post.

I don't think price is going to down below than $550 range this time, price is bearish and it have a lot of selling pressure at the moment even no bullish sign exist, price is on survival phase and it can break the current pressure and will start rising very soon, I think so price is doesn't matter it need to get a stable floor.

I believe the dump will not go deeper under 550$ or even 500$ since i think many people will surely buy since bitcoin for this price is so cheap and also some other people would provably would buy for their investments good and maybe also for manipulating tricks(who knows) but as far as ive seen nowadays i think todays price will be the stable price untill this month and hopefully it will rise on september.

Price has stuck at $570 at a moment  and even if it falls in coming days then I don't think it will go below $550 and I think even current price is a good one to buy some bitcoins.

That's right, it is now located in the bitcoin price rate of $ 570. But I am sure the price will drop to $ 550-$ 500 in the next week, because I see the market movement bitcoin is not good enough. So this could make the price of the bitcoin became down and also I think halving bitcoin is finished. So hold the first to purchase and see price up bitcoin bitcoin stable
