When is it useful to borrow bitcoin?

If you need it urgently, go ahead and borrow some. But you need to return some extra BTC with it for sure. I'd rather get money through campaigns than this.

It would be useful to borrow bitcoin if it's borrowed because you really need it and then you don't have any other way to get some money or bitcoin and it's for useful purposes. Bitcoin is like money also so any consequences in borrowing money will apply also to bitcoin. There is such thing as good debt and bad debt. Good debt means that the amount you borrow will be use in gaining something like when you borrow for investment and the returns you will received from it will be bigger than what you borrow so it would be an advantage for you while bad debt means that the amount you borrow will be use in other things that will possibly not benefit you if you are not lucky like gambling. You should borrow not because you want it but because you really needed it.
