This a real bet or what? Let me know if you need/want me to escrow it.

@spartak_t Thanks for the vote of confidence Smiley

...
Don't worry, we plan on hard forking Litecoin in a month and only giving the community 2 weeks to prepare for it due to a theft from an incorporation of smart contracts that we plan to launch for Litecoin. During the coding process, we will have every dev on the team plant bugs in the code and someone will notify us a few weeks in advanced of those bugs and the devs pretend to fix them (which will subsequently lead to the hack).

Once the hack happens, we plan to hack them back and take the coins! In parallel someone will relaunch the old chain because they wont approve of our actions, get it listed on some exchanges, and we are going to dump those hack-backed coins both for profit and to try to kill the old chains price. Ohh I forgot, all the devs coins are essentially doubling now so we get rich in the process (dont forget the 20 separate opportunities to both short and long both chains in the process).

But hey who cares, its going to create market volatility and whats what people really care about right?! Right? Right.....

 Roll Eyes

PS Who wants to buy a quantum computer?

Nice synopsis, don't forget to fud the old chain supporters with the scary badman that will touch the chain in the wrong place at the wrong time . Smiley

Hahaha, very true!

I was afraid typing all that up I would forget something.  Cheesy

EDIT: Coincidentally, just saw this too http://bitcoinist.net/robin-hood-group-attempted-to-sell-dao-funds-in-an-apparent-attempt-to-tank-etc/

I LOL'D.

So, am I the only one that's going to be holding LTC in anticipation of GDAX adoption? Or is this obvious at this point? Am I missing something? Because the last time someone even breathed the words 'LTC adoption' at GOX, people lost their minds buying LTC. And GOX is far from GDAX.

I can not confirm or deny GDAX adoption.

If it isn't added within 60 days, I get $10k worth of BTC. I didn't agree to any counter offer.. But I am sure the LTC TROLL will now run away from this bet...

The terms of the bet were never agreed upon by both of us and had technically not been set in stone.
If you don't agree to my terms of 60 days period and $10K both ways, then this bet would never go forward.

Clearly you are the troll who is afraid to loose money, and thus would never take this up. If you agree to my terms [as mentioned above], then so will I. Until then, you would be the one who ran away from the bet.

losh, technically the troll is right - you offered to send him $10k in BTC if Litecoin isn't listed on GDAX within the next 60 days. Cheesy But I do believe in the "put your money where your mouth is" rule, and if he is so sure that LTC won't be listed, then he should honour and match the bet. Smiley

That would not be an honorable move but a stupid one.

I hope troll lost, I think troll won't pay 10k usd if he lost the bet. LOL, no escrow involves, no one will pay such a bet.

Well, it depends, because losh11 is obviously speculating (i.e. he is sure that LTC will be listed, but he's not sure when) and that is why he also agreed on the 120 day period. Otherwise, it would be stupid, because I am also quite sure that sooner or later, Litecoin is going to be listed on GDAX.

@bitcoinlitcoinbtcltc
Sounds about right to me..
If he stated a bet and there was no stipulation you had to match it..
..then pay up if you lose LOL

Yeah, how could I refuse such a bet? lol

By the way, major LTC crash coming within the next 5 weeks. Recovery from that crash will take approx. 12 to 18 months.

5 weeks.

Well, I'm mining LTC at 3300mh...if what you say is true...I will mine a lot more LTC as a result as the difficulty rate drops, due to your price crash prediction. (or so it was at 1.30 LTC in 2015 as it seemed to shake out as such)

So assuming that LTC survives and LTC needs yet my Titans on the network it will all even out in the fact I will compensate with lot more ltc for whatever
drop in price there is, again due to a corresponding likely drop in difficulty. (this is assuming NO massive dump of new scrypt equipment....A4's are coming out but don't think it will be massive)

Anyway in my case no real risk, I'll just keep mining LTC and hoard till the LTC to BTC ratio is correct. For me it is this ratio of LTC to BTC (currently 0.00623 LTC to BTC) that is important. Then again the whole works of any crypto could go 'beanie baby' for all I know. Anyway, that is my playbook on your scenario.

Anyway, that is what happened in 2015..mined a lot of cheap coin at 1.30 usd and a bit more...and sold it at 3.5 usd.....

but again you could be right this is the wild, wild west of crypto Smiley

(tough to get to beat up on this if I've already ROI'd more or less...and I convert 90% of my LTC hoard to BTC when the ratio is right)

Anyway, just to show you a different angle on this ...from a miner/support LTC networks point of view Smiley

I am more than happy seeing people talk about an alternative currency .. in the alternative currency section.

NOT ..a scammy ICO token tackeed onto a block-chain + tech-gimmick for profit scheme.
..such as Ethereum (which is all you a talk about Minecache)

What it has "become" is more than actually even possible with sleazy ICO "fuel tokens"
That are by design flawed and do not posses the capability that LTC has.
Which is being as us a proper currency. (something ETH can not ever attain)

I am not worried about being for or against a coin in question.
I just enjoying see us all talk about the point.. currencies.
Which is Why they made this section here in the first place.

I am sure Satoshi envisioned THOUSANDS of sleazy scammy "For Profit" ICO coins.
I am sure he would have wanted it all to end up as nothing but a Pyramid Scheme Profit System.
ICO's are so great Satoshi actually considered ICO'ing his Bitcoin eh.. did you know that ?
Ohhh yeeaaaaah it's so legit i hear Litecoin dev's considered making an ICO for LTC way back.
Same with SunnyKing and Prime Coin too.. i hear they were ALL thinking about that way back.

Blow me scammy Fraud Boy LOL

LTC performs perfectly in it's current role.
