What was ICO price of one XEL?
ICO 700 btc was raised. 100m coins. No coins for dev(no premine). Everything was sold via ICO. So I consider it's 700/100m. May be I'm wrong. I'm looking at this project since the beginning - It's march 2016. So you can check Evil-Knevil's activity during all the official thread and see all the proofs. Btw project is mostly done. So when mainnet launch it will be working project. Just look at Golem. They've raised 8millions during 20min, but they only gonna make it. Here is already working project. Totally agree,u guys made a good brief. BTW,the dev Evil-Knevil is the first one who find the last biggest NXT bug and got bounty 2014. |

I think real cap should be about 5-10m at the beginniing. And grow then. Just look at dev EK(Evil-Knevil). He is great really. He began to participate at this project at martch 2016 and now it's the end of november. It's about 9 months already. And he is working. It's great really to know we have such devs like him.
Yes, me too watching this project since March 2016 and donated when total donations under 30btc. I believe in this project. There more scope for extending. I think in future good to provide language specific libraries which can be compiled to elastic language. So users can code in their favorite language, I'll investigate and try with C# and JavaScript . |

You should offer at least 5-10 cents for each XEL. |

However most ICOs are nothing but a trap with all the hypes and videos and after they get launched at exchanges, the true value of nothing comes to the surface. On the other hand, Elastic Project was never about hypes , but all about research. 8 months ago, Elastic and its goals were far from reality that's why not too many people were attracted to it, and now the reality is very different. I don't know 30,000 btc but I won't be surprised . Anyway, I hope I didn't offend you by any of my replies. Best of luck ! |

You are making a typical mistake here. Markets are not about how much the ICO price was and if its x2 or x4. Its about MARKETCAP in comparison to other Cryptocurrencies. Example: I am selling you a house for 1m$ and you think thats a fair price given the quality of the house. Then someone comes along the street and says: "Didnt you know? He bought it one year ago for just 100k$." Is the price that you just thought is fair now all of a sudden not fair and justified anymore? No, obviously not, because you always compare things with similar things and come to an evaluation. If that house was 1k, 2k or 500k$ one year ago is basically useless in that moment. All that matters is that house in comparison to other houses and what they are offering and what they are being traded for. I hope you got me. Compare XEL to other cryptos to find a suitable price and not xICO. Following your logic you would end up with some crappy ICO that got funded with 10m$ and trades still at 1xICO at the exchanges. Given your own logic that would be a must buy cause: Hey its still at 1xICO! |

Once again: trading is not technically possible, and most probably will not be possible for at least few weeks or months until XEL is actually distributed... If there are people who want to sell and buy, maybe it makes sense to ask EK to develop some mechanism for pre-market trading? It could be a website where one pubkey in genesis block could be replaced by another pubkey after request is verified by a signature. I know EK will not be interested in manual processing of deals (nobody will be interested in such mundane task, moreover a developer like him), but he might want to implement some trading (pubkey replacement) engine. Given his capabilities, I would expect that to take 1-2 days from him Just an idea though... Pre-market trading could increase the value of the coin, as coins will move into stronger hands of people who paid more for them. |
