New Project - Bitcoin Dice Website

We are creating a bitcoin dice gambling website.

The site will be something similar to say satoshidice.com. As a result, it will have the technical complexities of a bitcoin gambling site but with an easy to use design. Therefore, you will need to consider all the coding considerations around a bitcoin gaming website, including unique addresses to deposit bitcoins in, secure client seeds etc.

We Seek

Someone/company that can code the entire project

Ideally, we will be able to find one person or company who can complete the entire project. Therefore, they will take care of the coding/UI/database development. We anticipate the site will be written from scratch, however, you may have some previous code/databases/ideas that you could bring over from previous projects. We do not want a copy and paste quick solution.

Someone who can code/design part of the project

Alternatively, if you have skills in a certain part of this project, eg., testing, database development, UI, etc., please also feel free to contact me so that I can add you to the development team.

Investors/Mentors/Etc

As this is a new project, there may be some people out there that might want to join in as a partner, investor, mentor, consultant etc.. Let me know if you would like to join in in this capacity. We are happy to learn from your experiences and previous projects or teams you may have worked on. We are happy to also give up equity in return for the right person who may want to join our team.

Application Process

Contact me by private message, and let me know of:
- why we should pick you
- any coding or other experience you have (a brief overview of CV will be fine)
- any previous projects you have worked on, particularly any that may have been similar. If you can include names of the projects that would be great.
- your idea of how this project may be completed/stages
- cost, preferably broken down into components/stages
- any other information that may be relevant

Alternatively, let me know your contact details below and I will contact you via Skype/email/ etc.

Payment

We will pay in USD or bitcoin. We haven’t set a budget up, but will pay extremely well for the right person/company to take the project on. Payment will preferably be paid per completed section/stage.

We look forward to your applications. We are excited to hear from all of you.

Additional Projects

We are also setting up additional bitcoin casino-type games, including roulette, keno, bingo, black jack, slots, and poker. If you have any experience in any of these, contact us.

May I ask who are "we" exactly? From the mentioned expression, I get the impression of that there is more than one person behind the idea, but I do not see any information or public presence related your team in the thread. Before sending any information related my person, I would love to get to know whom I am supposed to work with better.

Hi!

I've developed a clone of satoshidice several years ago, so I have the necessary experience to build one now too. It used a full Bitcoin Core client and its RPC interface to process and send btc payments, and it worked automatically, just like the original satoshidice.
I've been working as a dev for about 8 years. Mainly web dev in the past, lately I work mostly on Bitcoin-related projects: trading software, accepting btc on websites, automating payments, etc. I usually use Node.JS, Python, PHP, also had Ruby projects and several C# works.

There are a lot of Open sourced dice scripts.
If you want to build a script from zero first you must find competent people. And following this equation competent people equals much money.
So if you want to make a competent dice site (which is pretty hard these days when there are at least 100+, and only 2-3 is making real profit) you must show and deliver something special and unique.
so IMO you should try first an open sourced dice script. Make sure its safe, its not backdoored, etc and give a try. If it will not work and generate revenue in a month then you know that its a pretty monopolized market by Primedice, etc. On the other hand if it will work, then you should start to spend big moneys on it and develop to get on the top.
Its just a newbies advice  Grin

I don't want to discourage you or spoil your enthusiasm, Op. But what makes you think that bitcoin community needs another version of Dice?
You said it yourself: "it will be similar to SatoshiDice". Then why people would want to play on your site rather than on SatoshiDice - which is an original concept?

I am asking because over the years I've seen many half baked bitcoin casinos/dices/gambling services failed. Nowadays you can't copy something and expect it to become huge.
