Bitcoin as payment gateway merchants can give discounts due to low fee and instant processing. Bitcoin has created good opportunity to send inter country payment in very less fee and time.

Here is how to earn some btc on the long run, buy one btc now and hold it, in the next year, when the price goes almost double you sell it = profit. Also, getting a job wouldnt be too bad... Most likely that poster meant to say that it is no longer possible to make quick bucks and earn thousand percentages of profits in Bitcoin, like it was when one day it cost less that 1 dollar per BTC and then, in a matter of months, it suddenly cost 50 dollars per BTC. Or when it was possible to mine a few thousand bitcoins on your personal computer and now become a dollar millionaire. Those times are long gone, indeed, and you need something more than pure luck, Internet and a desktop computer...

Theres one thing that bitcoin holders can do which is endless. Trading is what mostly are doing, you can either invest to an altcoin/token or just buying and selling bitcoin as price fluctuates.

Well Firstly it depends on what exactly do you want. Best is to buy and sell, and make a profit over it. Or keep on stocking it up. Or. Try and collect it and make a investment out of it. i don't think that there are some other thing that you can do with bitcoin aside from spending it or holding it and wait for the price to rise for you to get a decent profit after keeping to your wallet . you can also do buy and sell so you can make a profit as well which is other people also telling you .

i don't think that there are some other thing that you can do with bitcoin aside from spending it or holding it and wait for the price to rise for you to get a decent profit after keeping to your wallet . you can also do buy and sell so you can make a profit as well which is other people also telling you .

That is an option. Hold bitcoins can make profit after some time, especially when the halving comes. But there are other investiments to do with bitcoins these days, like lend money on exchanges, borrow money to persons and sites (with escrow).
Or you can use your coins to buy stuff on the internet. It's already possible to find some sites and sellers accepting this cryptocurrency to make your shop. Virtual stuff the same, like online games.

These days people see Bitcoin as more of an investment/asset than currency, majority of us believe that Bitcoin would appreciate in future and most people are looking at $1000 price minimum, and attaining this price again will be great for the community and get more people's attention.

I think the OP needs to know that bitcoin is as similar as any other fiat currency. Just a whole lot of technical differences are there between the two.

Otherwise you can buy/sell them (trade), try to mine them if it is feasible at your place. You can even invest coins in a legit investment and you can also spend them to do shopping in many online and physical stores.

I agree that trading could potentially bring you handsome profits, but if you had mined a few thousand bitcoins without any significant expenses and efforts in, say, 2010 and then sold your stash altogether in 2013 at the price of over $1,000 per coin, I don't think you will be particularly interested in trading a few bitcoins nowadays. Anything that you might earn these days through trading or investing would be dust when compared with profits made in the way I described...
