Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Attempted around 1930 EST

Either you own the bitcoins(private keys) or you don't. However with moneroj, nobody knows what you own.

More than likely it's bitcoind, I had the same issue yesterday until it was restarted, then the verification went through no problem.

Not working for me either after trying all morning, it's now 11.25 UTC.

Also something I don't understand is how it can verify a signed message without sending the signature.

Guess I'll try again later.

Will btcquick support altcoins since they are gaining larger market cap?

Also getting stuck at 'verifying message'. The input box says 'enter signed message' but I assume only the signature is required?

Yes, open your BTC client, click sign on the corresponding bitcoin address, paste the message into the field, click Sing Message, copy-paste only the signature.

Worked for me, but it was over 24h ago, now it might not work.

How else would you verify that you're the owner of whatever shares you had on bitfunder?

Anyway, when you log in at the above address, you should see a list of shares and associated public addresses from bitfunder.
You then just enter your public address and sign a message that will be given to you.

Guys,
When you signed up account in Bitfunder, they provide you a default public btc adress (in settings page) that you MUST change with YOUR btc personnal adress , in order to sign with (Private key used for sign), to prove that your shares is YOUR shares for issuer.
