well yeah but mass adoption is not going to happen over night an it is actually a good thing because bitcoin is currently at its maximum capability to handle users and if a sudden surge of usage happens i don't think any of us are going to have a good time.

I think both requires each other to happen however I don't think that will occur an mass adoption because a lot of people don't see the power of bitcoin.

Every case of price increase without being backed by adoption is temporary bubble and won't last. We had example of something like that happening in 2013.
Please don't be stupid and expect price to skyrocket and stay high just because some whales decided to organize pumping fiesta. Adoption = organic price rise - there is no other way around.

Mass adoption, because how would one buy or get a bitcoin if in the first place its price is too high? Also, with mass adoption, everything else follows: development, community, support, improvements and whatnot. Aside from those things we can ensure that the currency would really perform well and might somehow be used by majority of the people in the world.

Mass adoption is better, but huge price inceases will apear on tv and newspapers, and more users will know about it. Mass adoption could later than news talk about a huge price increase of bitcoin.

I may think if the Indian cases have become a real example for this topic. Massive adoption it hasn't meant will sue to increase the size.

Yeah that's a classic example but at the same time I think if both can be done somehow I mean a price increase and a mass adoption then it would work best because people will have bitcoins and the price increases so all those who have bitcoins will love it. Mass adoption does not mean everybody has to be involved, a great percentage of it is all that would be necessary. Already we are seeing increase in the number of users and market capitalization has been quite progressive, those are steps in the direction of mass adoption.

Huge price increase is a function of mass adoption and the value of any coin depends on its user base, which can be seen as its acceptability. Without good enough user base - buyers and sellers, huge price may never happen and if it does, it would be transient, because there would be no basis to hold it out up there. That bitcoin have risen from few cents to hundreds of dollars is all because there is increase in the number of people demanding it.

I would like huge price increase, that is from my personal point of view. But for mass adoption that is actualy not good because very high price is not available to wider population. If we want Bitcoin to be spread all around the world then probably mass adoption is the solution.

But honestly it is impossible to happen in bitcoin so i voted to mass adoption since this is the only way that can more people knows about bitcoin. more stores are accepting can attract people to use bitcoin to buy online shopping.. or other activity that can use for bitcoin.. not only for buying something online..

both are good but i think it should be obvious that mass adoption comes with a lot more benefits that one of them is a huge price increase in its future. so in other words you hit two birds with one stone if we can see mass adoption first.

yes that is a fact that if the number of bitcoin users will increase bitcoin will become more and more strong and so people will put their confidence on bitcoin, therefore me mass adoption is too much important as compare to price increase.

A huge price increase will only make people sell everything they have and walk away (at least most of them will) so I'd say having Mass adoption is much better (and which will eventually lead into a stable price increase)

yes that is a fact that that is the reason that mass adoption is more good that the huge price increase, if the price of bitcoin can go high it can in turn come back in no time. but if the number of bitcoin increase then they will surely give support to bitcoin and will not let it fell down.

I am very glad to see that majority (around 80%+) have voted for the mass adoption and I have the same opinion.
Price increase may not bring the sustainability on the bitcoin or even the things which are required for an ideal payment system whereas mass adoption will prove beneficial in long term with one or many ways and it will help in transforming the way we use to transact on day to day basis. Mass adoption will keep malpractices away and also build a concrete base for the payment structure of future.
