Increase in price will let peoples to sell their bitcoin. But mass adoption tends more peoples to buy and use bitcoin for their daily needs

Well, how would you know that the increase in price is due to mass adoption or a price increase itself ?
See sellers will always sell the bitcoins and we cannot convince them much to hold but there would be a lot of buyers too because we all know when bitcoins price increase, it ends huge usually and hence a lot of people buy it.

Yes i agree with the mass adoptation. If people already recognize bitcoins as a money, and if many merchants will accept bitcoins, the demand will become more higher. I would love for mass bitcoin adaption in the future because as for right now there are not many places that we can spend our bitcoin on ,our only option is to find a way to sell our bitcoin for not its current price otherwise it is impossible , the idea of being able to go into a local market get all you want and then pay with your bitcoin wallet opens up a lot of possibilities for both seller and buyer, so i really hope for something like that to happen

Mass adoption would be the normal future for bitcoin. Probably before that bitcoin will reach the huge price and exactly that will awake the big interest and make bitcoin more popular. I am very glad to see that majority (around 80%+) have voted for the mass adoption and I have the same opinion.
Price increase may not bring the sustainability on the bitcoin or even the things which are required for an ideal payment system whereas mass adoption will prove beneficial in long term with one or many ways and it will help in transforming the way we use to transact on day to day basis. Mass adoption will keep malpractices away and also build a concrete base for the payment structure of future.

Actually price increase will just give some new investors a quick reminder, because they say invest when its going up. But mass adoption will bring a permanent or I should say unmatched change in the price and once mass adopted it would increase in the amount of users using it and hence the price will keep rising, while if only a price increase is done, it will increase and then decrease gradually.

Exactly, price increase and decrease actually causes negative impact on the goodwill of bitcoin. It makes people reminder of pump and dump schemes that we do see every day on various exchanges. Well that is a critical question. Both is having their own benefits. If mass adoption happens, then bitcoin price will eventually increase and reach to the intended target. However, if only price increase happens, then mass adoption may not happen.

They must coexist simultaneously both. The massive acceptance without a good rate will not be attractive to investors. On the other hand, if the price is too high will not be adopted by many people So a trade-off between them is a preferable situation

I think if there is a massive adoption, even if the price is not that great yet, it will be profitable to merchandisers and the users. Huge price will surely follow afterwards because of the value generated from merchandisers and users transactions. Huge price is great but it will not give you an assurance that mass adoption will follow if price is really high.

The price of Bitcoin isn't a metric showing the success of Bitcoin. The price of Bitcoin only shows how many day traders and crooked exchanges are fucking with the price for their own profit. The price could crash down to nothing tomorrow and no one could do anything. All the devs in the world in concert with the combined resources of the US government cyber unit and Microsoft couldn't do anything to stop shady profiteers from screwing with the price. One of the great benefits of Bitcoin is that no single entity is actually in complete control and one of the great flaws of Bitcoin is that no single entity is actually in complete control.

yes i also agree with you in fact mass adoption is permanent while increase in price is something temporary, as we can see that the price of bitcoin can fell down any time, while if a person is accepting bitcoin and he become facilitate by it so he will never like to stop bitcoin using any more so it is permanent, therefore mass adoption is more better than price increase.

Both mass adoption as well as price pump come together so basically there is nothing to choose between which is good. However it is true that price increase without mass adoption can't remain for longer time and that can actually cause massive price dump which is bad for adoption in future.

I am sorry but I beg to differ because I think mass adoption will make the market much much more flexible and the price would change from 900$ to 2000$ in a day and the opposite too which I personally don't like. I voted for "Huge price increase". If Bitcoin exchange rates shoot up to $10,000 per coin or $100,000 per coin, then it will attract a lot of attention. A lot of institutional investors will flock to purchase Bitcoin, and in the end the user-base will also expand. 

When you place the cart before the horse, you will no doubt have some movement too, only it won't be the movement you desired. Same way the price of bitcoin would be hard to plummet to $10,000 or so, when only few people are interested in it. Investors are like butterfly, they follow the flowers. Liquidity is a major determinant of what knowledgeable investors would see firsthand, before they are willing to commit their money as they understand that liquidity is a function of mass adoption.

People are being attracted by the volatile nature of Bitcoin. In that matter, as long as the level of volatility stays the same, people will continue to get attracted, but also continue to stay in Bitcoin as they see it as a more than profitable investment option. Bitcoin needs the liquidity in form of fresh incoming money. That will help in getting the price to go up for the long term. Without fresh incoming money the price will slowly start to go down more and more. No one wants to see that happen.
