It is very difficult to explain the bitcoin. I also confused how it works when the first time I heard it. Since teenagers now has a lot of knowledge about technologies and social media, I think that it will be easy for them to explain bitcoin and how it gives profits nowadays.

What matters is their interest. If they are not interested in what you are saying, it will be useless. Social medias are sometimes not a good influence to teens. Sometimes it changes their perception about a thing. Just take a look at the teens that are present in this forum. They are looking at Bitcoin as a way to earn, not a money to use.

It's okay if earning Bitcoin could help them, however it sometimes make them greedy. Not good IMHO.

We can try to explain bitcoin to them as explaining a mobile game to them. This way they can more deeply understand the bitcoin concept which is actually complicated for them.
Unequivocally if you raise the question of how and when to teach young people crypto currency, it seems to me that while adults will decide where and when, the young people themselves learn how to earn money with the help of crypto currency. It seems to me that the bitcointalk forum very brightly shows it mutates in the presence of young people who are interested in crypto-currencies.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

In today 21st century its easy to talk with children and teenagers about bitcoin because they are more attached with computers and latest technology.
For us its good that today children are more skilled and even they are more known with computer than us its easy to say and explain bitcoin to children.

This is true, teenagers or millennial children are can easily adopt the trends. If we gonna explain to them about bitcoin I'm sure they would get the principle and the procedure of how to deal with bitcoin. They're only need some supervision and guidance on how to successfully deal with it. And in fact, if they would be one of the bitcoin'er it would be a huge opportunity to them to help their parents in their school expenses.

Im not so sure we have to explain to children they are too young to do this i guess. Unless if the kid is genius. Besides its hard to explain bitcoin for now.
I would definitely agree with you. It's seems complicated for kids to understand it. Kids don't really care too much in money because they are still depending on their parents. And most of the kids just want to have fun.
On the other hand, explaining bitcoin to teens would somehow easier than explaining it to adults because most of the teens nowadays are into technology. They probably understand it if you'll just explain or teach them the basic and let them learn the rest of it by themselves.
I think teenagers and children are the most curious specie in this world. If we will tell them about bitcoins, they will surely ask more about it and once understanding the idea perfectly, no one can stop them from indulging into bitcoins because of high passion and dreams that they weave. Bitcoins must be taught to younger as earlier as it can be for their betterment.

Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.
I think, teenagers or the millennial children can easily adopt the new trends as of today. If people will gonna explain to them what bitcoin is, I am sure that they would get the rules and the procedures of how to deal with bitcoin thing and bitcoin organization. I think, they only need some supervisions and guidance from those bitcoin experts on how to successfully deal with this.

Yes, teenagers and children are much focused into anything if that attracts them. So to explain it to children and teenagers some form of attractiveness need to be added to it. In specific the earning one can make easily attract the teenage group, but with children I don't find anything specific for them.

Indeed teenagers are quite difficult to understand bitcoin, especially their rich parents, so they are used to asking for money without having the cooperation of their parents. My advice should be to show your work to children, because by looking at a lot of money they will be interested to follow it.

Just like you had a hard time teaching my teengers friends. so it's really so stressful. Because they do not care about these things. But because I also want them to earn me really. I said it was easy and it would give you a potentially earning 50 $ weekly if you worked hard. So they have the interest that others have been denied, and the others continue it and are now making money.

Teenager  must be interested in bitcoin and have a passion of bitcoin reseaching bitcoin subject. Show him or her yoir results and describe all pluses of bitcoin.

Yes, introducing bitcoin to teenagers are not a problem since most of the users of bitcoin are teenagers.  The one who taught me about bitcoin is still in school and that most of my friends who are into bitcoins are teenagers.  As to children it would be out of their interest because bitcoin is not I think designed for them.  Maybe you could just tell them that you bought him or her a toy because of the earnings you made from bitcoin.  But not to teach them how to earn with it.

It might pose a problem since most teenagers nowadays are stuck on the virtual world of social media and they tend to disregard things that seem complicated for them. Teaching bitcoins to children/teenager may be complicated due to its nature, being very complex and technical. I highly suggest teaching alternatives that are still relevant to bitcoin, like explaining to them the value of money, teaching them to save, and showing them simple investments. In this way, they can embrace the idea of giving worth to money, while at the same time being relevant to the topic of bitcoin.

There is always the tendency of them not listening to you due to their nature being focused on the things that give satisfaction to them like playing games etc. But it is paramount that you give them the exposure behind bitcoin so once they mature, they have at least an idea regarding the topic.
It will depend entirely on the teenager, if he is a know it all that thinks he knows everything just because he can use facebook then he is a lost cause, but if he is a curious person then he can learn about bitcoin very rapidly and even begin his journey in his search to make money online.

no need to explain detail for them. just say it's just like game currency and can send arround the world.
The only issue is that bitcoin is not a game currency, a game currency always stay at the same level and buys the same things while this is not true at all with bitcoin, bitcoin goes up and down and it is subject to the laws of supply and demand.
Bitcoin is not a game currency at all. We all know that it is one the most famous cryptocurrency now a days and most of the trading is done between the international market employers in the form of bitcoins. the best way indeed to teach the children about it to make them enter into the dealings and have some search on the internet about the digital assets like BTCs.

It could be a fun for them as long as the trading or investing bitcoins in business or some other matters are kept for the sake of adults only.

Yeah it is easy to explain the new technologies to the teenagers or children, you all know how fast they learn how to use a new smartphone, or even they teach us how to use it, so i think that they can understand how it works fastly, anyway, it is difficult for they to adopt it as a new style of life, they dont know what "earn" means, or what invest is, they are only focused in wasting money, and going out with friends, so that aspect of bitcoin can not be explained to them.

Can I tell my child that bitcoin is just like any dollar you earn in that old lemonade game but the catch is you can convert it to real money and you can earn it by working or you can invest by buying. On trading btc and mining it that is a whole different ball game. Hell I dont even know how to mine it.

In reality teaching, these kids would really give you a hard to time. Since their mind are set to something else. Most of the kids today are not fond of studying and that's a fact. But, It will still depend on how thus the instructor or us (parents) relay the information to their kids. Teaching Bitcoin is really quite fun but let's face it Kids will be kids and Let them enjoy their childhood not thinking about money and stuff. This industry is quite a stressful one and these kids I guess are not yet prepared for that.

Yes it is difficult to explain to teenagers or children the concept of bitcoin because at this stage of their lives they prioritize first their studies and also the things that interests them. Even if we introduce bitcoin yo them they will not be interested unless they are already in the stage that they wanted to earn and they wanted to save. But for sure in the coming years they would understand it because most of the kids now are exposed in the internet and they can easily adopt it later on.
