I think it's easiest for a child to tell him that it's money for the Internet. Money with which you can pay for a purchase on the Internet. In the beginning, this explanation will be quite enough, I think.

I think teenagers are old enough for your game, they'd easily figure out that you're lying to them and so it's better to go all out with them coupled with the morals you've brought them up with I think they'd be fine and grow up knowing everything about Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.

I'm not quite sure if its good to share to children, even if we say that the are understanding some sort of this internet thing already. For some teenagers, especially the techy ones, I guess they will be more interested with bitcoin. Lets consider the fact that it is hard for them to believe it since they too know some scams on the internet world. But if you really have that desire to teach them how it works, you have to prove it to them first.

Teenager  must be interested in bitcoin and have a passion of bitcoin reseaching bitcoin subject. Show him or her yoir results and describe all pluses of bitcoin.
The best way to teach the children and the teenagers about the bitcoins is to help them scroll through the internet and collect some information about them. Trolling through the social sites and then visiting various discussion forum helps people to get the basics of all the matter just in a matter of seconds. It is easy to get an expert in this field by polishing your skills and giving some time to the matter.

there is no need. teenagers/children's mindset is way more flexible to understand new tech such as bitcoin. I wouldn't bother, they will find out themselves, just like we oldies found out about hot stuff ourselves as well.

I think it is important to be able to explain Bitcoin, or any crypto currency to anyone. The best way is to start off in very simple terms with a non technical explanation. That is that each coin is like an electronic token, say compared to an email. But just instead of being able to send this token (email) to many different people at once, you need to record who the token has been sent to on a ledger that is shared on everyones computer. That ledger is the blockchain, and everyone can look at the blockchain and see who owns each coin.

First, you have to explain what the definition of bitcoin is in them using your own language. And you can also show this forum to them so you can explain it more easily. You also tell them what we can do in bitcoin so bitcoin can be beneficial for us. Talking about the benefits will make teens more interested. Today's teenagers will be very interested in talking about making money because of the high level of living now.

Well that's a cool insight here, but for me I wanted to share my knowledge to teenagers in order that they will learn in a proper ways, unlike those who were innocent about bitcoin currency. It can help them understand how important money, which can be earned so far from bitcoin jobs in the forum here, that's why youngsters must be able to understand how to do it step by step.

I agree that bitcoin is really hard to explain. When i tried to teach my classmates about bitcoin first i told them to search bitcointalk and read in the bitcoin discussion to try if it catches their interest and i said that they can also watch videos in the internet.. at first i tried to explain it to them but since they can't understand i come up to that kind of teaching.

Best way of explaining is using the gold analogy.

But I think explaining it to a person in his/her early teens will be quite diffiicult. Best to wait till the person reaches late teens and then explain

i agree i don't think it is not ideal to explain things like bitcoin to children, they should enjoy life at that moment without thinking about earning money their focus must be in their studies first. it is possible to educate them but teach them what is more important and ask them to choose their priorities in life.

Is it really important to teach teenagers or childrens about Bitcoin ? I think its a waste of time, because most likely they will not understand or interest about it. Bitcoin and Blockchain technology need some education level to fully understand it and deal with it.

The parents should tell them about that currency from the start and have to tell them that it is another currency like all other but we call it online currency or digital currency as it is the currency of internet and we use it for internet use, that will be good. for them.
I guess it is much better to inform or explain to the teenagers or children about bitcoin through their parents I guess. They are the one who the teenagers and children believes at the first. And I guess besides by being informed by the family members, it is also a good way to inform them involving ghe use of technology that we all know all of them can relate and understand easily.

Yes its difficult at first because you doesnt have any knowledge about it. We can explain bitcointo teenagers and children by first telling them what bitcoin is. We can also give some article that they can read to get some information about it. But first person who can do this was their parent I think. Because if the stranger or just their friend maybe they wont believe onit unlike when it parent they are sure that it is true and they are telling what bitcoin exactly is.

It is hard to explain bitcoin to teenagers especially children. I also have difficulties in understanding bitcoin especially the ways of earning and using it or spending it. But if you want to explain it to them just tell the simple explanation about it like bitcoin is a kind of currency which you can use for spending earning and saving. Explaining them in a simple way can make them think that bitcoin is easy and they may come up having a research on their own.

i think every person is different in my opinion. Bitcoin telling myself to my brother, and he told what it was and he was not interested in knowing bitcoin. It would be very easy if someone is interested in bitcoin would be very easy to explain. But your will be very difficult if one is not interested because of how hard we explain if they are not interested we could not force him. The most important thing about bitcoin explain just what it is, if they are interested explain further and if you tell an adult about bitcoin might no special strategy because they will be more easily attracted. but for a small child I doubt they'll know how to work of bitcoin and others. teens may also be easier  Grin Grin Grin

It is very hard to explain bitcoin to kids but it is actually very easy to explain it to teenagers because you can just tell and show them the benefits of bitcoin and also you can tell them about how they can earn money to spend on their college fees.

Much easier to explain it to a kid than to my parents. Kids are used to online payments, virtual money etc. People see cash less and less nowadays, in 10 years it could mostly dissapear at some well developed countries
Their ease with technology actually would be helpful for letting them understand about what bitcoin is. How bitcoin works, what are advantages and disadvantages.

And if you like to tell about regarding the outputs of bitcoin then that would be more affective. Children and new generations must know about it now because future is all about them and bitcoins.

In fact, bitcoin is difficult to explain to childrens because what 's in their mind is to play games and enjoying the life they had in their chilhood .but i think they will learn fast. They are the fast learner to generations. They can easily understand about bitcoin when you teach them how to use it. They are eager to learn and willing to.

For me? Based on my mind it's hard to teach bitcoin in children or teenager becuase if you tell them and if you explain to them that becuase of the bitcoin you can become rich by using this you'll receive a laughing  for them i swear.

not all kids are the mindset of them are just want to enjoy their childhood there is nothing impossible if we explain it to them but it is always depends on the teenagers you are explaining for.

I feel it as a difficult task to explain about bitcoins not just to teenagers but to adults as well in the past but now it has become easy to give them idea about bitcoins as there are courses available for the once who are interested on it can learn about it from available resources by even taking up a small program  in which they have to enroll and make payment if they are interested to learn about it  there are even free online tutorials and they can even learn about it from internet there are lot of information available in youtube as well so i think its not that difficult to teach teenagers about bitcoins these days and i feel that they will find easy way to earn bitcoins as they have great grasping capacity than adults as they are learning everything faster.
