they do not need the explanation they need is money. with money they will easily understand want young, old or children. Because for those who do not understand the technology will be very difficult to understand especially our era then the era of technology, maybe 10-20 years later Bitcoin will be easily known and very popular like the currency generally

The best way to explain bitcoin to the kids is by simply explaining to them how email works and how traditional mailbox (P.O. Box) works too.
An email is a digital form of receiving personal mail while the traditional mailbox is a form of receiving paper mail physically using a wooden box in front of your house.

So, the bitcoin is a digital currency just like the digital email, while the fiat money is just like the paper mail which you can receive it physically.

I think the right way to explain bitcoin to teenagers is to provide motivation in the form of results that we have from this bitcoin, this way can make teenagers become curious and want to try it. that's when we can explain what is bitcoin and how the steps to get this bitcoin. this way is a way that I think is pretty good, by making them curious that they want to learn more about bitcoin.

Best way of explaining is using the gold analogy.

But I think explaining it to a person in his/her early teens will be quite diffiicult. Best to wait till the person reaches late teens and then explain
You have a point, if a person is willing to understand what bitcoin really is, then it is so easy for them to understand.
Willingness is one way to understand quickly. If we teach someone what bitcoin really is, we need u to teach them one step at a time inorder for them not to scramble their minds.

Today's teenagers are smart enough to learn any thing new. And in my opinion Bitcoin is good thing for them. Which will make them self independent. Teenagers are spend their most of the time in Internet and smart phone application. If we create an Bitcoin learning related application then they will get benefits from it. Teenagers are love to watch videos so if we made Bitcoin related video for them then they will understand bitcoin easily. If we organised Bitcoin camp for them then they will learn a more about Bitcoin.  Wink

I don't think kids need that. Unless, you can tell about it to teenagers, and only if they are interested in it.

Not easy to tell bitcoin to anyone let alone to teenagers or children, i will to teach bitcoin if they have reached old age, because I think teenagers or children better focus on studying in school.
You will study if you have exam tomorrow so for that study is necessary but how are you saying that children or teenagers should stay away of Bitcoin and other crypto world as crypto world is tomorrow and we would need that to understand the technology and knowledge for our need.

So Bitcoin is our present and as well future’s need for that teaching to teenagers is important and necessary. One of the important ways is to teach them through games because 1 person in 10 of the whole world is playing games.

If you really want your children to know about bitcoins, ask them to watch related YouTube channels. Make sure you link them to only interesting channels .

it will be not that easy to explain bitcoin related things to teens and children AFAIK, in their age they are not focused yet on how to earn money, most of them just want to enjoy life like playing video games or whatever they want with their time.

When I read the forum, I learned a very large number of opinions on this matter. Some consider Bitcoin an absolute pacifier, referring to the fact that there is nothing behind it, it is not provided with anything. Some even went further, saying that this is air, which costs nothing! Someone says that behind him are only miners, from which they have nothing to take. I admit, when I first heard about Bitcoin, my opinion about it was not high, but the more I became interested in this issue, the more I began to understand that not everything is so unambiguous.

Many proposals on how to teaching children about science bitcoin start with the school is very good. But do not forget that even the same teachers will have to teach in the first place.

Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.
I think teenagers here about bitcoin now because it is the most famous currency in the whole world but they are not keep a proper knowledge about is so you have to say about bitcoin of them in a very easy words.Don't say nay wrong or lying information about it.Say about bitcoin good site and bad site also. Then they decide that bitcoin is good or bad.You told them to search in online about bitcoin and saw many learning YouTube video's.

I think they are get a proper knowledge about bitcoin from you friend. Smiley Smiley Smiley

very easy if we want to explain to teenagers and children especially those who have experience in this field of computers will very quickly accept what we will convey and teenagers will have more time so they can set the right time but not that easy because teenagers and children Usually they still can not focus because their time is still long and can not be consistent.

Tell them about ways that they can earn some pocket money in bitcoin by doing various bounty campaigns...This should get their attention. I would personally recommend you to leave the kids alone and concentrate mainly on teens. Because teenagers would be able to better understand the concept and would find bitcoin interesting than kids.

Yeah i dont know whether Bitcoin is appropriate for children and teenagers but in terms of explaining how it's functioning it should be easier then to other groups. They are more familiar with new technologies then older generations and  they addopt informations easier and faster but in the term of trading it i don't this this is appropriate age for them.

Not so many adults know about bitcoin. So I don't understand why to teach kids about bitcoin? In the case that bitcoin will become normal payment instrument as fiat there is sense to teach kids about it together with teaching of using fiat. But today I don't see any big reason for that yet.
