Bitcoin is not some kind of magic pill that can solve all the problems of the world but it can help individuals to protect their financial freedom.

When Satoshi Nakamoto created Bitcoin, the real intention was for Bitcoin to become this "magic pill". He hoped that Bitcoin will end the exploitation by the banking cartels. Still a long way to go, but if Bitcoin becomes popular, then it is going to be very bad for the banksters.
Even if bitcoin can help solve a lot of problems it cannot possibly solve all the problems and since bitcoin is such a new technology there is the possibility that new problems arise which are unexpected to everyone.

Bitcoin can only solve some monetary problems of people living in poor countries by providing them a chance to earn an extra income from internet if they can get to know it or if they have access to internet and computers, otherwise bitcoin can be of no use for them unless it becomes useful in physical world.
Why extra income when you can consider it as your main income, what you are talking is just simply doing a micro job earning small amount of money. I know it's big to them but admit the reality that we cannot accommodate them all here.

What you are saying invariably is that, all you know about bitcoin is that it begins and ends with earning of some extra income from the internet and that is rather unfortunate.

You need to see and understand bitcoin for the revelation and revolution that it is. If you have been following the trend, the technology upon which bitcoin was built is fast finding expression in so many issues challenging the society. Like the issue of trust, same technology is being adapted to create trust systems, which is badly needed in every facet of life, especially in poor countries where corruption has been the major clog in their wheel of progress.

Yes! Of course, bitcoin can help poor country if the people are connected to internet and if they have a phone, that is enough for them to transact bitcoin. This can open doors of many unlimited opportunities and can help them to live a better live. Bitcoin can also help them to come out of poverty.
yeah at least they have access to the internet and they tried to use bitcoin then try to generate a bitcoin, it is any chance that will change the bitcoin economy these people become better ?

Of course there is a chance that they can become better but the reality that those people who live in poorer countries doesn't even know how to touch gadgets, smartphones and laptop computers. So they must know first how use those gadgets and that will be a challenging part for them because seeing a thing that they haven't saw and used for their lifetime is a hard adjustment.
i wonder how you imagine these poor people. yes there are some who have nothing but only the cloths they are wearing. but most people are not that poor. they know electronics and smartphones are common. it maybe is a cheap knockoff but it works.

I'm also concern for them because as we know they mostly live in depressed area and what they are doing is just for them to live, to survive for each day. So its going to be impossible to them to handle things out when it comes to technology especially this bitcoin thing which is not being seen nor touch. But if they will adjust then for sure this will help them to rise.

yes the fact is that all most all the countries of the world have access to computer and internet as these facilities are more cheaper than other basic necessities of life. therefore it cannot be argue that poor countries have no access to computer and internet therefore they cannot get benefit from computer, i think the online solid reason can be that if they are not educated and having no proper knowledge of computer and internet then they cannot get benefit from bitcoin.

It would only be bad for bankers if they do not have any investment in Bitcoin. I imagine some of the are hoarding bitcoins since it has been in headlines for many years. Bankers have enough fiat to get into as many speculative markets as they wish.

This may be true for individual bankers but not on a broad spectrum. Many people I know are actually holding bitcoin as a passive income source and then sell it once a while when the prices skyrocket. In a way the are collecting bitcoin from many sources and then trading on it like this and they belong to poor countries like me. Though the income in not huge it is still better than nothing.

Hence I believe that bitcoin can help poor people but not a poor country.

Can be an magic pill however it can allow people to skip banks and taxes from government and since they are corrupt, the tax that you pay don't will go back to you as a service.

You can use bitcoin as a plus in the middle of the solution, creating a big local comunity that accept bitcoin is a big step.

We should also teach all of the homeless people worldwide to use Bitcoin. That way they know what all the rich people in wealthy countries do for fun. ROFL

Donating money might help out certain individuals, but that's the only effect it will have.

Plus, in order to make some sort of an effect, you need to continue donating, otherwise they will run out of money in a quick fashion. But I personally don't see donating money to the poor as a solution.

Especially when you are donating to well known charities that are paying staff, rent, spending good money on advertising, and the list goes on. From every donation a tiny amount will actually go there where it's needed.

Investing in proper education and possibilities for people to start up a company is the first start. I think that has much more effect than donations will ever have.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

what i have learned in this thread so far is, that they have no way of understanding it, since they all are most likely uneducated, because that is what i imagine homeless people are. o and they are to poor anyways to own a a device or something.

I think Bitcoin can help poor countries (concerns indigenous people also I think) in many ways. For example, giving your bitcoin savings to the country, withdraw it to physical money to donate them. Also, to help the country more, we could help them by turning them to technology. Teaching them what the use of a Personal computer, what are the advantages of the internet. We could help them cope up with the various technology we have, even the simple ones. The small things can help them in a big way. We don't know how they really are, but helping them even in small things matters.

Donate money to charities that are proven to work since a good amount of them are money sinks, they keep getting money and instead of helping people with it they spend it on marketing so they can get even more money.

We should also teach all of the homeless people worldwide to use Bitcoin. That way they know what all the rich people in wealthy countries do for fun. ROFL
what i have learned in this thread so far is, that they have no way of understanding it, since they all are most likely uneducated, because that is what i imagine homeless people are. o and they are to poor anyways to own a a device or something.

I was being facetious. Who cares if homeless people or poor people use Bitcoin. They don't have any money. That's why they are poor and homeless.

I'm concerned also to the governments that do something about it, but instead, they are corrupt. Not saying every government is corrupt but I do think that they exist, corrupt politicians and some of the people themselves make the most out of it. Nothing will happen if nothing is get done. It's very hard for us just to do it. For me, I can't still help since I don't have the amount of money that can be beneficial to them. If I have the amount of money that can help them, I would.

If there is an easy way of exchanging the local currency to bitcoin and vice versa then I think the picture might be different.

However I believe that bitcoin can help the economy of a person and not the entire country. Changing the economy of a country is a very tough job and it requires huge input for some individual bitcoin group, and I doubt anyone would try to do that in real life.

It definitely helps my life FYI but not sure if it help others, it must be depending on how we use bitcoin and I am pretty sure some people are using it for gambling and mostly poor people does, and we know in gambling people loses more than he win so it would not help for them.

This does not help the poor in overall unless the government will push bitcoin.
