I think that it can help, but not in a big matter. I see the option that relatives in who have managed to live in richer countries can send money to people in poorer countries, even if those do not have a bank account. Of course, the poorer people would have to know how to handle bitcoins, have a computer and internet, and I think that will often not be the case. So the realistic chances that bitcoin can make a change there are small.
I do not think that it can really help poor countries because of the fact it will not changer their economy.

Don't think so. For example how Bitcoin can help to India or Nepal, where people do not use computer. The same is in various Africa countries. Bitcoin can help, if there are a lot of computers, but in poor countries, it is not expected.
Yes because bitcoin is just a medium, It can't help anyone unless someone uses it to. For example us, Because of bitcoins we have an online job here that helps us financially, But it's not entirely bitcoins fault because we ourselves, just took advantage of it, We use it. So definitely bitcoin can help this poor countries who doesn't know how to use the internet if somebody will use it to help.

If they poor countries are knows about bitcoin well for me we do not know if it can be help poor countries.. Because they are not aware about latest or any advance knowledge about crypt currency unless if they can afford to buy a miner and invest every time the miner earned..with a support of government since we are not tested it yet maybe in the future we can see the result if bitcoin can help poor countries.

Depends how poor. If so poor they cannot afford a phone then no. If one person fpr every few has a phone they can share then maybe bitcoin can help them.
Bitcoin is definitely not created for the poor ones, the fact that it's online and most of the poor people are computer illiterate so that would make them hard to adopt with bitcoin. It's a currency and the only benefit they might enjoy is the low transaction fees, however for now bitcoin is not so popular as an alternative remittance to help the poor. That's a very short sighted answer in my opinion, not all poor people are computer illiterate. And also, you have people working a full time job who are still considered poor, for them Bitcoin could be useful. Not only to make more money, but also to send money cheaply.

Well, if bitcoin can be used optimally by the state, I think it could happen. Well, bitcoin could help poor countries, especially about the transaction and money. Well, bitcoin can be used for transactions and as a means of livelihood. if a country has a lot of unemployment, then, bitcoin can help it.

Bitcoin doesn't have to be used by those illiterate poor people directly. If you spend your coins on building a hospital or a school we could say that bitcoin has helped the poor, right? If smart bitcoiners start getting involved in charity, but not by giving them coins directly, but organizing courses to teach them hygiene and other useful things it will change their lives. I agree, it is more on how one person use his bitcoin. Like for example, if I am one of the early supporter and got myself a million bitcoins, and use them to build infrastructure in rural areas like schools, hospitals and roads, it will definitely help that poor area and will give the populace in that are a better way of living. Now if the government decided to acquire bitcoin and use the profit from it to build and develop every rural place in their country and put up a company to give the natives work and earn money, then it can really help this poor people live a comfortable life.

I dont know if at the current moment build a mining farm will still be profitable, but maybe should, if some contrie does invest into those and use the money to upgrade their country, i mean better education, more works, those things, its possible bitcoin make a huge impact at those countries, since i believe the energy is very cheap, just need to be stable to dont burn the miners. But this is something countries wont make, atleas if are making its hiden, otherwise it could damage the bitcoin instead be used for good purposes.

Yes I consider energy as a cheap utility, but the quantity of Hitcoin being mined is less than the price of the current electricity bill of many people, meaning they actually incur a loss not a gain. Also a government would not even consider going with a bitcoin kind of investment as they won't have any people who will accept it in return.

in my own opinion i really don't think it can help the poor country because this is not just the normal currency they know and most of them are not computer literate so it will be very difficult for them to understand you maybe for those who will want to learn about bitcoin.
I disagree with you mate cos almost every individual in the poor countries will love to try new thing which will bring them money. Though, it won't be easy to teach them how to operate a computer but the thirst of survive will make them break through.

However the poor countries are poor since they lack basic necessities of life. They need to learn and earn fiat first before they can survive. Survival is more important for them than buying a PC/Smartphone with internet to get bitcoin access. If bitcoin mining is profitable in some countries then surely it can help, otherwise it can just change the economy of an entire nation so easily.

Yes maybe, if those people in poor countries can learn to save money and put them in bitcoin instead of in banks, they can retire with good amount of savings. Unlike if they will just put them in banks, in 10 years time their fiat money barely grew.

Well if they were poor in the first place, I wouldn't say that they would have they're going to be having "good amount" of savings just because they put it in bitcoin form. Holding bitcoins is only profitable enough if you invest enough. I bet these "poor" people wouldn't even be able to afford 1BTC. But I guess if they hold long enough, if they wait for decades and nothing bad happens to bitcoin, then 'good amount of savings' surely is on the way.

Can Bitcoin or any other altcoin help poor countries? how? what can be done?
I think yes bitcoin can help poor countries grow economically. Poor countries are poor because they do not have resources, natural or human, and these resources can not be created overnight.Bitcoin however is universal, if poor countries set up big mining farms, they can make big profit from bitcoin

Yeah right it will take them really long tiem before they get good earnigs since that they only have little amount of btc and holding bigger one would be impossible because they are poor.
