It's always not so simple with KMD. A lot of old and serious users like crackfoo and others support KMD.
KMD has working products and that's good but for almost 3 years price for KMD in the range from 0.5 to 1.5$. We're talking not about lambo, but it's always hard when any team tried to built something without huge money.
And if I'm not mistaken KMD has no so huge hashrate(maybe this is cause they use Dpow and it's not so profitable).

Atomic dex it's great but cheap transactions deprive the project of liquidity and it's not clear where KMD team will find liquidity for atomic dex.

Quite sad to know that. The tech is so promising / jl777 has been so dedicated to his work and frankly speaking, he has done a helluva job conceptualizing Komodo. I don't want to see this technology put to waste. Somehow I am being hopeful that the team may come up with its full implementation of whitepaper.

That is true. That's why I think the current approach is very good. The community has to drive the coin into the top 100 and the team around KMD has to shine with facts and marketing.

Eventhough Atomic swap of komodo did not gain traction it was still its pioneer tech with decentralized application. Hopefull in the near future Komodo team would this to the the next level better than liquidity mining / yield farming and flashloans applications.

Centralized exchanges have notoriously been known to break down due to increased user activity. Solutions like AtomicDEX offer an alternative for traders and hodlers alike.

The Problem With Centralized Exchanges
Centralized crypto exchanges are prone to outages, especially at times when crypto markets are really volatile. For sellers, this is a frustrating experience because the outage often occurs at the exact time the price is starting to increase or decrease significantly. For buyers, when the price of a specific cryptocurrency is at its lowest, this becomes is a missed opportunity to buy the dip.

We also see centralized exchanges suspend crypto withdrawals due to network congestion. This happens quite frequently, particularly for ETH and ERC-20 withdrawals. Essentially, holding funds on a centralized exchange is the equivalent of having an IOU. You don't have custody of your own funds, which is one of the main motivating factors for buying and holding crypto in the first place.

Even if an exchange has 99.8% uptime, this creates a major issue because that 0.2% downtime is typically when the users want to access the exchange the most (a.k.a. peak usage) for trading or withdrawals.
