Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Ya it is totally true that their are so many spammers who just wanted to troll their post to reach the target for their signature campaign. and for that without reading the full detail on thread, they just post it the same question.

If OP is reading then for mining , now only Altcoin are giving profit because their are running in cpu and gpu mining and as soon as they hit exchanges you can sell them and earn profit, but that is also upto which coin you are mining.

I'm mutch more interested in Bitcoin mining than Altcoin.
Because i invested in Bitcoin mining hardware and i don't like the Altcoin dust payments.
I tryed Altcoin mining with a usb gridseed dual miner but know he needs some repair.
But if you wish you could post about Altcoin mining too

It is a difficult activity because we no longer can mine bitcoins from our computer right now and cost of buying antminer and cost of electricty would cost a lot and generating profit from that is really difficult nowdays,so its a risky investement now.

Why every people say that?
It is so difficult activity  Undecided
Bitcoin price is not rised as expected after block reward halving which just halved the amount miner can generate with same effort before. So actually what you earn is halved, with difficulty to get that reward is increasing day by day, price of electricity is also increasing slowly etc all making earning profit from mining bitcoin difficult these days.

yes. but bitcoin stil need miners and need to be mined. without mining bitcoin circulation won't increase and if every miner just think like that and leave mining then one day will be last day for bitcoin..

but the sad part there mate is bitcoin is currently unprofitable or shall we say not ideal ones to mine nowadays its. because every blocks nowadays are very difficult to find and maybe every year and halving will pass on it i think the more difficulty to find some blocks are extremely hard so thats why its very good to find an alternative alt whos profitable to mine nowadays so the mining hardware you have will be usefull

I am sure reading several threads regarding mining that majorly its not a profit anymore. Unless government provide you subsidy.

Government Subsidy is not a profit.  That is robbing one person to benefit another.

Government subsidy is the last thing we need in Bitcoin.

As to make a profit in Bitcoin one would have to mine and hold the coins until they increase in value.  But that is hard to do with the amount of hardware required now.

hah, thats right if you being subsidized from goverment maybe you make profit, but you are hurting someone if we talk about Venezuela the electricity is very cheap but because you are being subsidized by goverment maybe I can make a profit but the country is not doing well

Unless y ou have the latest technology powered miner, it will never be profitable for a miner, difficulty is too high.  Aside from the miner itself, we should consider the electricity rate.  Some countries charge too high for electricity, unless it is your hobby, you can never get a good profit in mining at this point if you are living in this country where electricity is not cheap.

Why every people say that?
It is so difficult activity  Undecided
it is difficult for people who have no enough capital to start... and some newbies say it is dificult who never tried and don't even know what mining is.
if you have enough money to purchase everything(including the electricity cast) you can do it with no issue.

because every mining is uselss and full of loss and full of risk . there is always a chance to ran away the mining site any time without notice . hashocean mining is a best example of you topic that you have started .
don't call mining useless. there is big deference between mining and cloudmining. cloudmining have no any relation with bitcoin mining. they run on hype bases.

If you aren't going to make a mining farm, than small capital is enough to start mining at home. You'll earn some bitcoin and if you have free electricity than it's really good to start mining with 3 powerful miner.

You are true, mining isn't useless of course, it's business and pocket money for some people and I also agree you that cloudmining is waste of time and money but when you say that mining isn't difficult, you are wrong. I amn't newbie but I'll sathat it's difficult because you need good fan system, when you buy antminers, they aren't always good working and some of them don't lasts longer, you need to change old antminer with new and working antminer, also new and more powerful miners are releasing and after years it's time to change your old antminer with new one because that's more profitable and much better. So it's not really easy, it's difficult.

It's not hard to be profitable in cryptocoin mining.
Just move to where power is cheap, and don't get taken in by miner scams.

Could you name any of successful coins that led to profit after hitting exchanges from your experience ? For me, i could name Shift Coin, made around 120$ via mining with 1 7950 x GPU.
