Winning or losing doesn't make a site a scam. Last I heard of the site, it used to be a scam. Like others said, withdraw and see for yourself before you end up continuing gambling. But I doubt thats what this thread is for, it probably is just to promote the website.

If you're winning already on this site, then you can test yourself whether the site is a scam or not and tell us your experience with your withdrawal. You may get withdrawal if it is the really small amount. No need of asking whether the site is a scam or not now because it looks you already deposited some amount and won. You should have asked this question before start playing on that site.

I think I heard about this casino last year and actually used them too play my first dice experience. Never withdrew anything from them because I was on free promotion credits but lost them on the play.
If they are a scam I would not be surprised in the slightest.
Because their probability fairness was not correct.

999Dice isn't a scam in the sense that withdraws aren't processed (they work perfectly, pretty much), but rather in the sense that they can and will rig your dice rolls, if your betting a large amount or winning too much, or going all in, because their provably fair systems requires you to tell them that you will verify the bet before making it, and most people don't request a seed every time. If you do, they will ban your account (unless it's changed, but doubtful). Allowing withdraws doesn't make a site legit.

first of all, why would you want to play in a site that already has some negative comments about it like the scam accusation that was linked in a couple of comments above. just try another site, thankfully there is no lack of gambling sites with bitcoin!!

also winning doesn't mean they are or aren't scam. how much are you winning? 1BTC or 100 satoshi? how long have you been playing there 10 minutes or 10 weeks?
and also more importantly how much did you deposit and how much did you withdraw?

I heard a bunch of negative comments for 999dice. Frankly, 999dice was my first gambling site to play with. I left that site a year ago when the first time I read the negative feedback! Gambling is very risky and you made it more risky in playing in a site with scam accusation. Seems the purpose of this thread is to promote the site and convince others that they are legit. How exactly asking people for proof of scamming activity of 999dice is promoting the service itself?
Because if I see that there are some dark areas of some service I have not full info about, it won't make me suddenly test if they are scamming or not - with my own money.

999Dice isn't scamming by blocking withdrawals. The only question is the provably fair system. I have cashed out 4+ BTC at once from 999 once. More than 1 BTC many times.

Edit: Though there's no certainty they would pay out big money. Just haven't heard of them refusing to pay.

2. I'm decently certain JakeM the 999dice founder is JakeMCRS/stake a well known scammer in this community who also developed a dicing website called gigadice.


Anyways if you love the website and trust it, by all means play there. I'm not going to debate this with you further. At the end of the day running a dice site with a house edge at 0.1% is probably unprofitable and given Jake's record here I wouldn't be surprised if he was earning a bit more than that.

I do agree in all gambling sites people will win and lose as well but there are many members claim that their probably fairness is not correct. So it is better to avoid and gamble in other sites because we have many good trusted sites so why do we want gamble on non-trusted sites?

I agree with that.  My buddy put in .25 in order to get his winnings and it took him some time.  I do now know anyone nor could I see anyone building up from .001 to 1 BTC.  If that was possible, there would be way to many people doing it and it would be everywhere so fast the site would loose to much and shut down.

I think you need to open your dictionary or use online dictionary to find the meaning of scam. Scam is not only about getting paid or the number you win/lose but more about how the site works. Lets say there are some shills saying that they have been paid on a site but in fact the site is cheating you by changing your rolls, will you say it is a legit site?

If you look at page one of the thread, almost two years ago it was established that 999dice is likely a scam, and even at best untrustworthy. Why people use this website is beyond me, use bustabit, betking, just-dice, primedice or any of the other trusted websites held to higher standards.

That post stunna mentions basically highlighted 3 things:
1: Ambiguity in the provably fair method
2: The site makes it difficult to get your server seed hash before every roll because you need to click the button, and the hash for the next roll isn't sent with the result of the last one.
3: the poster got banned and asked not to play at 999dice anymore when he wrote a bot that gets his seed hash for every bet.


Now, in 999dice defence:
1: the description and the code is still ambiguous, but when using their code (which is type sensitive), it works perfectly.
2: After that post, the site updated their API to send the server hash for the next bet, which, if they were cheating by changing seeds, removes their ability to do so.
3: The poster provided no proof of this and I find it hard to believe. What most likely happened is he spammed the site with requests and got IP banned for an hour, much like JD and PD does with login attempts, and the "Too many requests, slow down!" error many users get from PD when running a bot. Before the API update, my own bot was getting the server seed hash for every bet before the bet (and that made it hella slow). None of my users ever had an account permanently banned or was asked to stop playing there because of it. I was never asked to change it or remove it. In fact, Jake emailed me about the changes to the API to let me know I can update the bot to improve speeds.

There is an unlikely possible scenario that this guy managed to exploit the rigging system (even then the chances that he could take the bitcoins out of the site are real slim). Yeah, i think that it is really possible to do make 1 btc to 12 btc because higher bet will always get you higher profit but of course it has always risk when you play big. But it does not matter, as long as you are luck enough you might get this. The main problem is to get 1 btc from 200 sats which is really hard to do. The highest record that i can get is from some giveaway (50k sat last time) and hit 0.4 before i busted everything. But i dont know if on this site we can do this thing or not since there is scam accusation on this site
