Due to the very little popularity of the Social Dice game I am going to remove it at the end of the month.

Shame as it took a lot of time and money to develop. Even a +EV jackpot doesn't attract players Smiley

The good news is that some of the code and concepts can be reused to make multiplayer roulette and blackjack.

The good news is that some of the code and concepts can be reused to make multiplayer roulette and blackjack.

Multiplayer blackjack could be seriously fun if you could recreate a casino-like experience. e.g. You could have your own private table, with a private chat and play with friends against a dealer. I think for it to work, you'd need to be able to not just see each others hands but also each others "session profit" or something (as half the fun of playing with other people is doing better than them).

I can actually imagine doing it when I have a bunch of friends over for a bit of fun, and not needing someone to deal. e.g. I could deposit bitcoin and then tip them all someone money and play that way. Probably the biggest obstacle for at least my group of friends, would be that no one would be comfortable using amounts in bitcoin. (e.g. playing hands of $2 is intuitive compared to 0.0034 BTC). A fiat mode might be nice for it, which displays the chips in a more comfortable unit (but still uses bitcoins in the back)

(I'm not sure why, but multiplayer roulette doesn't seem as fun. Like when at a casino and playing roulette it doesn't feel like you're playing with other people. But when you're playing blackjack, even though it's really an illusion it actually feels like you're playing "with" the people at the table)

Check out gamblingsitefinder.com for a decent list/rankings of crypto casinos. Note: I have no affiliation or interest in it, and don't even agree with all the rankings ... but it's the only uncorrupted review site I'm aware of.

Yea that's the plan. Kind of how we had it before where you could open own table or even view other peoples. We had it like a poker style lobby where you could see all tables and games played and then go to whatever one you want or open your own.

As a separate feature I was planning on having an option to display currency in $ as some people have asked for that. Not sure if there is any legal issue with that but would be good to add. It certainly looks and feels better when betting small amounts.

Agree about roulette but some people seem to like it. In a B&M casino I play Blackjack with friends and have a fun time but I pretty much never play roulette.

Booming-games slots have temporarily been disabled.

When comparing BetKing.io slots to Bitcasino.io we found that the payout tables for the same game provided by Booming were different.
It seems BetKing.io is paying between 5-6 times more for certain payouts with the same bet size

Here's Bitcasino's payouts on the Sweet Robots game

and here's BetKing.io payout on the same game

Still in talks with Booming to find out why this is.

Note this is great for players playing on BetKing.io as you will win more often Smiley

So if this is not a huge error on Boomings part and Bitcasino.io just asked to configure games in a way that pays players less or there's some other explanation then I will re-enable the games.

Endorphina slots are still up and obviously we still have the best Bitcoin dice game for you to play Smiley

Booming-Games have been permanently removed due to lack of transparency.
They would not provide me with the layouts for the reels for the games I was hosting or provide any way for me to calculate the RTP.

Is there a way for you to go through and look at the overall profits/losses game-by-game?  Because if you are licensing the software and not having them bankroll the play, wouldn't it be possible that they are giving your game incorrect odds and then playing it themselves?

That is certainly a possibility and a big concern with using 3rd party casino providers.
It would be hard to prove too.

Overall in costs of development, commission to 3rd party providers and some other costs the slots are break even on BetKing so far, maybe small loss.
But then there was a 15 Bitcoin win on day of launch of Endorphina slots Smiley

These providers do claim that they make very large amounts in commission from sites like Bitcasino.io and some other ones who use their games.

I don't know if it's true or not but I'm pretty sure it's exaggerated a bit since everyone can see the volume BetKing gets publicly for the dice game (12k wagered this week).

I've never spoke to a single player who plays on Bitcasino.io and had a good word to say about it so if they do have a lot wagered it must be from people totally new to Bitcoin gambling and just clicking the first result on Google.

Martingale at 10 BTC base bet... what could go wrong? Nothing!

-snip-

That is crazy betting with 10 BTC base bet so that we can say that this guy has a lot of coins to gamble, because nobody can afford to lose this kind of huge amount, if that guy would win than investors will cry after this but that is part of gambling some win and some lost there, but the house is always the winner in long term.
