Lmao  WOW!  A couple of yall are tripping a bit much,.Considering the site has been up front, transparent and said exactly the reason for the down time. Starting to look like you just droppin off some fud in here.
I am one of their regulars as someone described above. But I read the posts here from the site. Im not left believing its a tiny tech issue.,and I have no bad vibes about their return. .

It is normal because the admin says that the site will come back within a week but in fact a week was passed and the site is still down. No one dropping some fud here, most people are just asking about the real situation while there is no clear updates on what is going on after a week is passed. I'm sure it will happen in almost all site when there is a downtime more than expected.
Admin said soon yesterday, so people is expecting that the site will come back in the next few days only. Lets see..

Though, this is silly isn't it. You can't just abandon the site without announcing if your return or not, it lets loyal/regular customers in a limbo. It is best to be transparent as that way people appreciate you more - Just my thoughts, anyways.

well , could be admin who got real life problems and cannot get online or a hundred different reasons, really
but yeah , gambling sites make a lot of effort to get the gamblers on board and the returning gamblers are the ones who bring money
besides there are monthly and weekly wagering contests and players with the balances and pending withdrawals ( most likely ) who are having  "what the hell " moments
things like this do not help with the image , hope they fix it and let us know what happened

If admin has problems in real world, site should still be running, and this gambling site is not a small site that can be developed by one person, of course they have several employees. Without any clear news or responsibility from admin, I began to suspect this site, well even though this site has been running for years, did not close possibility that they took away customer money. But I do not want to assume negative is too far, I will wait for a month, but if there is still no news, well maybe my statement above is true.

Its been more than 2 weeks but the site is yet to come back? What is going on actually, I just started to think the worst case that this site will not come back. Luckily there is no significant claims from users who have some balances locked during the downtime, hopefully all user's balances are safe or users were able to request withdrawal during the downtime manually.

2. We have lost all user avatars, and no way to recover them. And it looks like we have lost LN backup, so if you opened direct channels to our servers, please close them.

For tech guys: monitor your SSD drives! Our RAID-1 array has lost one drive some time ago and nobody got any notification about that. :/

So, they are dealing with data storage and lost one drive from RAID-1 I think they can recover data easily and how come they did not get notified by the tracker about this...!

it has been 10 days already , sounds like something bigger than a simple technical malfunction

I agree that what has happened can harm their reputation and cause them to lose some of the players and so a part of their profits. But souldn't judge them that fast. Bitdouble has been live for about 2 years. It's not a short time. Happening of these problems is normal, however the maintance is last long time.
if they want to close their website, they can easily run away without any explanation.

No good signs that they will come back soon, last news from mariha96799 was more than 2 weeks ago when she/he said that the site will come back soon. The "soon" has passed already, unless she/he has different opinion with most people on what is mean by "soon". Frankly speaking I wont be surprised if the site is gone eventually because there were not much players when I checked it before the downtime except those who usually on the leaderboard of the wagering competition.
